Fantastic stay!

This place is incredibly comfortable and perfectly located—just steps from the beach and the sea. There’s a great Mercadona supermarket only 2 minutes away by car, with plenty of fresh and affordable ingredients. The apartment is very well-equipped: a full kitchen with lots of utensils, a dishwasher, and a large fridge. We loved having both a front and back garden for relaxing in the sun. The bedroom and bathroom are spacious and really comfortable. Highly recommend for a relaxing, convenient getaway!

Good place to relax for a break

It’s in a quiet location, which is peaceful, but it’s quite a distance from everything, which may not suit everyone. The nearest beach is playa Melonares and it’s a 20 minute walk or a 5 minute drive away. The nearest cafe is 18 minutes walk away. There is a big Mercadonna supermarket 7 minutes walk away, which is very handy. The WiFi is good. The instructions for check in were not straightforward. We were told to go to the apartment and present ID at the video camera outside, but the apartment is in a complex and we couldn’t get in the main gate. The key fob to that gate was inside the apartment, so not much use to us there. The place is well equipped, but we needed to wash some clothes and despite the washing machine and clothes pegs, there was no clothes line or rack to dry the clothes on! There is no microwave oven, which was a slight inconvenience. The coffee maker is a filter machine. There was only one key fob to open the main gate between the two of us, which wasn’t very convenient. Despite the listing description, for a 3 night stay, there was only two little sachets of cheap shower gel and shampoo each. There were two small hand soaps in the bathroom, but no hand wash. There was no hand wash in the kitchen either. Despite the huge super king size beds, we didn’t find the mattresses to be very comfortable. We still slept ok though. Overall, I would recommend this place if some minor improvements were made.

•Large Construction Site at back so noisy & dusty•2nd bath was utility accessed from garden•Problems with access on arrival•Rugs in lounge created trip hazard •Soleplate iron was burnt•No clothes airer/line•No instructions for any appliances/awnings•Dishwasher error took 6 days to rectify•Oven dirty•No bottle opener/corkscrew/scissors•Only 1 dishwasher tablet & no salt•Only 2 toilet rolls for 16 night stay•Socket under ‘work desk’ hanging out of wall•Only 1 tea towel•Pans in poor state•Handles to operate shutters didn’t work•Watch your head on the cooker hood while at the kitchen bench•Had to pay an extra 45 to extend our checkout from 11am until 2pm
