Studio apartment to get to know Padua on foot and reach Venice by river

If you want to experience Padua like a “local” rather than just a tourist, choose to wake up in the city’s most charming area, within a complex inhabited by locals and college students. The apartments have private entrances and open onto a peaceful inner courtyard with a garden, but as soon as you step outside the front door, you’ll be swept up in the neighborhood’s lively atmosphere.
The studio apartment is in a prime location—quiet and peaceful, yet right in the heart of Borgo Portello, Padua’s historic district, which lies within the 16th-century city walls and was once the city’s port. Even today, you can board the Burchiello: a boat that departs from the pier at the steps of the ancient port and takes you down the Brenta River to the Riviera del Brenta, eventually dropping you off in beautiful Venice.
The medieval centre is a 10-minute walk away under the characteristic arcades.
The train station is a 15-minute walk away but is also well-connected by bus.

Right next to the front door is Bar Divi, a trendy area spot that’s also open on Sunday afternoons. It also offers traditional Apulian lunches and excellent breakfasts.

Just 100 m from the apartment, you’ll find a PAM supermarket open 7 days a week from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. at Via del Portello 13, just a stone’s throw from the apartment.

The area is home to plenty of shops, bars, and places to grab a quick bite. At certain times of the year (mid-August and Christmas), the area empties out and some businesses remain closed.


The studio apartment has been recently renovated, is equipped with all the amenities, and is furnished in a Nordic style with compact yet well-organized spaces to meet all your needs. It has a private entrance from the building’s inner courtyard and is located on the ground floor, making it very convenient for luggage.

The apartment has everything you need for a worry-free stay: an electric kettle, microwave, and toaster; for laundry and cleaning, you’ll find laundry detergent tablets, dish soap, a sponge, gloves, all-purpose cleaners, trash bags, an iron, a drying rack and ironing board, a broom and dustpan, a bucket and basin, a scrub brush, a rag, and clothes pegs; In the bathroom, you’ll find a hair dryer, a wall-mounted electric hot-air heater, gloves, and cleaning supplies.


Kitchen
In compliance with the health and hygiene regulations set by the Ministry of Health, this accommodation provides disposable plates and glasses (100% compostable); however, the ceramic tableware you’ll find in the wall cabinets has been washed in the dishwasher at 70°C and is also available for your use. If you’d like to use them, you’ll find dish soap and a new sponge in the sink drawer.
Next to the sink, you’ll find the washing machine: if you need to use it, there’s a detergent tablet under the sink.

Bathroom
For those who feel the cold, there’s a hot-air convector heater. The shower is large: 120 cm x 70 cm

Bedroom
The mattresses and pillows are protected by a waterproof, breathable, and dust-mite-resistant cover to ensure maximum hygiene. On the bed, you’ll find pillows of different firmness levels: choose the one that’s most comfortable for you!
The mattress features 1,000 independent micro-springs and 3 cm of Memory BIOS foam and is
a Class 1 medical device—hypoallergenic and breathable.
To charge your smartphone, you’ll have convenient USB wall outlets right by the bed. You’ll find a 43" Smart TV and an air conditioner.


Outdoors
There’s a small table and two chairs for your use.
To keep mosquitoes at bay, you’ll find outdoor mosquito coils, skin repellent, and an indoor insecticide.
