Check-in a bit complicated but clear and straightforward (sent 2 days ahead, not 3 as stated by Expedia). Parking is a real bonus. Rooms (bedsits) very clean, roomy, tolerably modern decoration, secure, warm, and comfortable. Well-equipped kitchen with tea, sugar, and milk sachets provided, Looks like recent makeover; a big teething problem was quickly resolved by move to an adjacent room, though the (v comfortable) bed there was also creaky. Good TV. 10 mins walk from town but a couple of OK bistros and a small Co-op close by. Big Waitrose 10 mins drive away. Could have done without the vulgar misquotes painted in various places, but would almost certainly go again.
