Loved our stay here in Bathford. Eagle Cottage was spotless, charming and so unique with its entrance through the wall into the private garden. Everyone we encountered was friendly and helpful as we navigated about town and over to Bath. Communication with our hosts was excellent and most helpful. We had a perfectly lovely stay here, and the weather in mid October was beautiful.

really pleasant setting. the walled garden was a tranquil refuge. Bath is very close and easy to access , The local shop is really friendly and well supplied. The pub is fine but we didnt eat there and there are much nicer pubs nearby. The aga should not intimidate non aga owners, it worked well. A few lawn chairs would help relaixing in the garden more enjoyable and at least one bright lamp to read by in the kitchen/dinning area would be appreciated by some senior guests!overall we would not hesitate to repeat the experience or recomend to others

We loved the cottage with its elegant furnishings, and secret garden. It was superbly appointed and we we would happily have stayed even longer than the week that we had booked.The location was quiet and peaceful, but we were able to catch the local bus into Bath with no difficulty at all.

Very good property with exceptional privacy. The cottage is within its own walled and gated section of a large garden. All facilities you would need for a stay are provided.We travel every year with our friends, so 2 couples, and specify 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms; this property met that requirement with the 2 ensuite rooms in each of the 2 wings to the cottage. the lounge and kitchen was in between the 2 bedrooms. The village of Bathford is small and has a community shop and we found one pub at the bottom of Bathford Hill. It is served with a good bus service to Bath and surrounding area, that we found, as bus pass holders, exactly what we wanted.Parking is on site and part of the properties there at Eagle House. I have a pick-up truck and that was easy to drive in and out of the main entrance and the parking for it was more than ample.

Beautiful home from home...oven a little tedious to heat up .bottle of fizz a nice touch , however having done a 7hour drive I think a bottle of milk for a cuppa would have been very welcome ..,but that's just an observation! Not criticism. Would definitely rebook,
