B&B Slaap Lekker is located on the outskirts of the town of Dokkum, one of the historic Frisian Eleven Cities. The fully equipped apartment (50 m²) is located next to the park, less than a 15-minute walk from the picturesque town center. It sleeps up to 4 people (an extra-long double box spring and a double sofa bed).

Free parking is available on the property, and the apartment has its own entrance. The spacious living room offers a cozy, homey atmosphere, and the kitchen is fully equipped. Coffee and tea are included, as are bed linens and towels. Wi-Fi is free, and you can also use streaming video services (Netflix and Prime) at no cost.

The terrace completes the vacation feeling. Birds chirping, nothing but greenery all around you. You’d almost forget that you’re actually IN Dokkum. The park you look out onto is the largest in Dokkum. Trees and ponds, walking trails, and fishing piers. Rural and peaceful, yet not isolated.

Dokkum is known for its beautiful fortresses, the canals surrounded by historic buildings and windmills, the Admiralty, the IJsfontein, and the Bonifatius Chapel. But the delightful outdoor cafes and cozy shopping streets are also worth a visit. For enthusiasts, there are also several breweries to visit and sample.

Dokkum is also conveniently located for a walk in the Wadden Sea World Heritage Site, a visit to the Wadden Islands, or Lauwersmeer National Park (20 minutes). The wooded Park Vijversburg (commonly known as the Bos van Ypey—15 minutes) and the It Bûtefjild nature reserve (15 minutes) are also within easy reach, as is the Frisian capital, Leeuwarden (20 minutes).
