Our stay was great overall. The directions to find the property were unclear and the door code was incorrect. The location once found has a beautiful view and private beach. Close to all amenities and sites to see.

Lovely property. Quite, area that lends itself to rest and relaxation. Convenient location that served as a great base from which to explore the area. Quick drive to Tropicana field and the Rays. 5 minutes to Pass-a-Grille and all that it has to offer. St Pete proper is 15 minutes away.

We were very impressed with the condition of this condo. The owners really have it setup nice and felt just like home. Unfortunately, we had to end our trip early due to Elsa, but we could have stayed a month. A wonderful time, place, and area. Thank you again!

Our Stay at 9-521

The unit is located close to the elevator, trash chute, and designated parking space. The stool chairs enable unrestricted view of the bay and the boat activity from the balcony. We saw a pod of dolphins also! The unit is well laid out and spacious with satisfactory furnishings. The property management was responsive to fixing things.All in all, we had a fantastic stay....to say nothing of the perfect weather.

Everything was Great until the Hurricane. Missed 3 days of being their due to mandatory evacuation of area. Was allowed to comeback day before we were scheduled to leave. Elevators in unit were down and had to use steps to get to 5th floor. No fun!

Bahia Vista 521 St. Pete

This was my first time using VRBO. I learned a few things--first, it is more expensive to use VRBO, second, I did not realize there would be a third party involved (called VTrips), and third, there was no way to communicate with VRBO other than an online generated response tool. Communication was needed as we realized the elevator was out in our building (due to a FB page), so we had to climb five flights of stairs each time that we came and went. We feel that we should have been notified of this issue while there was still time to change or cancel our rental. As far as the condo, itself, the location was perfect, and the view was exceptional--the water, the bridge, the pool, and the beach. The condo was very quiet, fairly clean, and very nice, minus the beds (all uncomfortable). In short, I will use a local rental agency in the future or rent directly from the owners so that communication and the entire process will be easier and cheaper.

Look past the ...

The drive into the complex is impressive. The parking, elevaor access and very short walk to the front door made it easy to come and go. The view was amazing at all times of the day (Looking out over the bridge was not distracting) and the sunsets were simply outstanding. The condo intself standard, a bit dated (late 90s fixtures) in areas, and cluttered in areas with the owner's stuff (not pictured in the VRBO advertisements). This made it feel like you were staying in a relative's vacation place ... minus the pictures of the family. The pool, walking areas, and access to both St. Pete Beach, Downtown St. Pete and other "vacation" areas was convenient. The owner's VRBO representative was easy to reach and responsive. Overall ... a good experience.

5 Stars! Love this area, loved the condo community, and the location of this unit is fantastic. Unbeatable view, saw dolphins every day, and the sunsets from the balcony are fantastic, even with the bridge in the view. Would 100% recommend and stay again.

St Petersburg Trip

We arrived three hours after the time we were to take possession of our condo. The door was open and someone was inside. We knocked and received no reply. We walked in and found the cleaning person was still there. She told us she had at least another hour of cleaning to do. Luckily we have family in the area or otherwise I am not sure what we would have done with the additional hour. The next day one of our guests told us she found a poker chip in her bed, this indicates to me that the sheets were not washed. We washed all of the sheets for each bed ourselves. I spoke to Cathy at Vtrips and she was very helpful. She offered to send someone over to clean the condo but we declined since we had already cleaned the sheets and also washed out the main bathtub (dirt residue). I always felt the entire trip that the condo was not very clean which is an uncomfortable feeling. I would also like to recommend something be done about the mattresses. None were very comfortable. Besides all of that the location is beautiful and Bahia Vista has great neighbors. I was informed someone was to be looking into some type of compensation for our troubles we encountered. I have not heard anything yet but do look forward to this conversation. Thank you
