We stayed at the Cosy Flat in Chiswick for three nights in June and found it to be excellent value for three adults attending tennis at Queen’s Club and Test Match cricket at The Oval. The location is superb, just a short walk from Gunnersbury station with the District line providing easy access across London, while Kew Bridge railway station is also nearby. The top-floor flat was clean, well presented and comfortable, with two bedrooms and an excellent modern walk-in shower. Entry via the key box was straightforward, although guests should note there are three flights of stairs and no lift.We stayed during the June heatwave, so the flat became quite warm, but fans and humidifiers were provided and helped considerably. The allocated parking space was another real bonus, allowing us to leave the car for the entire stay thanks to the excellent transport links.A 15-minute stroll brings you to the Thames Path, where we enjoyed good meals at The City Barge, The Bell & Crown and the nearby The Pilot. The only minor disappointment was a previously agreed late checkout being withdrawn at short notice due to a new booking. Aside from that, communication was excellent. Overall, this is a comfortable, well-located and great-value base for exploring West London.
