Christina’s Cottage Downpatrick

Relax and enjoy this cosy country cottage, overlooking St Patricks statue. On the outskirts of Downpatrick, enjoy the beautiful scenery or a delicious meal at the local restaurant. You can also enjoy a pleasant walk around the picturesque Quoile river. Children can have some fun in the local park, or play football on the pitch. Families are welcome, we provide a highchair and travel cot on request. We also have play equipment in our garden.

The perfect house for a family stay in Down. Near beautyful beaches and landscapes. best equipped cottage, clean, very charming, everything nicely done, new and beautyful. So many lovely details, we felt very welcome. Super nice landlords, thanks for everything Deidre!

We enjoyed our stay at Downpatrick. The house is quite modern and has lots of room. Bedrooms and lounge areas were comfortable and kitchen was very well equipped. The only issue we had with our stay was the hot water. Initially we had no hot water as this needed to be turned on (not told and not something we were familiar with). Additionally the shower unit appeared to have malfunctioned. Despite Deidre and Joe coming over it wasn't something they could fix. They did provide a couple of bottles of wine to makee up for the inconvenience. This place would be ideal for families with small children, with playground toys outside and an assortment of toys inside.Downpatrick is about 45-60 minutes from central Belfast. We needed to catch an early morning ferry and were able to get there easily at 5:30am. Checkin and out were straightforward as the owners live in the property behind the house.Would definitely stay here again if we were in the area.
