The host didn't answer some of my questions prior to check in. I was only given check in details 30 mins before, which I haven't experienced before. We weren't warned about how steep and two flights of stairs were to the apartment. Thank goodness there was no mobility issues. The apartment was nice but kitchen poorly equipped and we had to unload the dishwasher on arrival. The sheets smelled damp as if they hadn't been aired which we found very unpleasant. The fan for the bedroom didn't work so it was a very hot airless night. There was no oven gloves or tea towels which was tricky. The shower was completely blocked and we spent a while mopping the bathroom floor where it leaked. I messaged the owner to tell her about the problems and she chose to ignore me so I have had to resort to leaving a poor review which I do not like doing but thought it only fair for other travellers.
