About this property

Large and superb typical house with swimming pool in the heart of the Basque

You want to breathe, marvel, relax, spend a serene vacation as a couple or family, while discovering the authentic Basque Country: Come spend an unforgettable vacation, in our renovated house, located in the province of Labourd between two beautiful picturesque villages : Espelette and Itxassou.
Our house is a detached house of 185 m².
• On the ground floor you will find a large Basque-style dining room with a fireplace, two fitted kitchens, a wine cellar, a bathroom, a separate toilet, a dressing room, a garage.
• Upstairs you will find 4 bedrooms, 2 with balconies (all of them overlook pretty views), a corridor and a bathroom with a shower and a WC.
• On the large terrace with a breathtaking view, you can relax at breakfast, lunch, or dinner enjoying the magnificent view of the Basque mountains, grill on the barbecue, you can also enjoy the garden, the squeeze and cool off in the pool in summer.
• From this terrace you will have access to the studio adjoining the house: it has a bedroom, a small fitted kitchen, and a bathroom with a large shower and a toilet.

With a little luck, you will meet our two pottocks, Bijoux and Bonita who come to maintain our meadow.

You will have Internet access by wifi.
Provide a deposit on arrival in the amount of € 1000.

Lovely stay

Our family and friends of us (total of 4 adults, 4 kids age 7-11) stayed at the house for one week and loved it - the property and its surroundings are beautiful and the pool is really nice. All communication with Jean-Luc and Nathalie, as well as with the property manager, Isabelle, was quick and easy. Would recommend this place!

Le séjour était incroyable ! La maison et la piscine sont très chouettes :) Jean-Luc et Nathalie nous ont bien accueillis et tout expliqué. Le logement est en pleine nature mais tout près d'Espelette ! Emplacement idéal, je recommande chaudement !

La maison est très bien placée : il est possible d’aller à Espelette à pied (à peine plus de 2 km, en montée au retour) et de nombreux autres lieux à visiter sont proches (Ainoha, Sare, le train de la Rhune…)La vue de la maison est très belle.La maison elle-même est grande et bien équipée (notamment la cuisine) avec une belle piscine. La maison était remarquablement propre. A noter : un studio indépendant avec 3 couchages, une salle de bain et une cuisine.Les propriétaires ont été réactifs et agréables. Très bon accueil. En revanche, à savoir : la maison se trouve à moins de 200 mètres d’une grande antenne relais qui ne se voit pas de la maison.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour. La maison est idéale le site superbe. C’est très calme on se sent isolés de tout mais plages comme montagnes sont accessibles rapidement. Excellent séjour dans une très belle résidence sur les hauteurs d'Espelette. Vues locales à apprécier depuis la terrasse ou la piscine (chauffée). Plein de possibilités de balades pédestres depuis la résidence ou dans la région. Nous avons aussi profiter des activités festives locales (villages avoisinants et fêtes de Bayonne).

Lovely house with amazing views

Great house four three families with children. Two kitchens that easily have room for cooking for 12 people. Nice tables for dining both inside and outside. Amazing views of the surrounding mountains. The pool area had been renovated since the pictures were taken so that is better than what is shown. A lovely place and really helpful contact with the landlord.
