About this property
Seashell, Tenby - Two Bedroom Cottage, Sleeps 3
Discover Seashell, a smart seaside apartment with glorious sea and countryside views, just 500 level yards from the beach and the Pembrokeshire Coast Path.
With pubs, shops, restaurants, golf courses and even a railway station all within walking distance, you can simply arrive, unpack and forget about your car until it’s time to head home.
Seashell is one of only five apartments on a private road in the centre of the pretty village of Penally, a quiet and peaceful spot known for its historic church, ancient Celtic cross and the evocative ruins of an abbey with its holy well. It feels wonderfully calm here and despite the village’s relaxed pace, the lively resort of Tenby is only a five-minute drive or a scenic thirty-minute walk away.
Tenby is often described as one of Wales’ “jewels in the crown” of seaside destinations, famous for its colourful harbour, golden beaches and picture-perfect old town. Tenby has seaside fun, water sports, independent shops, art galleries, historic buildings and plenty of boat and fishing trips .It’s the kind of place that mixes classic seaside charm with a lively, holiday-happy atmosphere.
Nearby, you can explore the magnificent castles at Manorbier, Carew and Pembroke, visit Anna Ryder Richardson’s Manor Wildlife Park, or enjoy days out at Heatherton, The Dinosaur Park and Bluestone, all just a short journey from your door.
Stay at Seashell and you’ll soon discover that Penally and Tenby know exactly how to serve up holiday joy — peaceful mornings, sandy afternoons, sparkling evening skies and the kind of memories that somehow make you start planning your return visit long before you’ve even packed up to leave.
