Wonderfully Convenient

The location and the owner were excellent. His recommendations in the neighbourhood including restaurants/bakery proved to great. It is close to public transport and attractions. It was quiet and we felt very safe in the area. There is a park opposite which is great for running, kids play and dog watching. The small elevator is wonderful for moving luggage up and down. Our host could not have been more welcoming and accommodating. He gave us a great start to our trip.

Perfect Paris

Renaud’s cozy apartment in the 7th is close to everything you need to make Paris a memorable experience. Whether you need a Boulangerie, cafe, restaurant with outdoor seating, or late night grocery shopping, I t’s all in walking distance including a couple of metro stations. The apartment is in ideal walking distance to the small tower, all major museums, the Seine, and other attractions. Our party of four (parents and 2 university students) found the apartment from the eighteen hundreds to be sufficiently equipped with the basics but we didn’t cook in the small kitchen. Renaud is the perfect host - very responsive and clearly proud of his town and the lovely apartment. We would gladly rent from him again on our next visit.

Great host , great location, great apartment

Myself, my wife and two children (six and nine) stayed for four nights at the apartment. Firstly Renaud is excellent. He is attentive, punctual, happily talked about local services and shops and made recommendations. He wants you to enjoy your stay. We had no problems at all with the apartment but I sense he would have responded immediately. Additionally he kindly offered that we could leave our bags at the apartment after check-out whilst we waited for our train home. Secondly the apartment is charming. Typically Parisian, in a super apartment block. Everything works, the beds are comfortable, the décor good and it is pleasingly quiet. Thirdly the location is splendid. On the doorstep of the Invalides, a metro station round the corner. There are a multitude of local bakers, grocers, supermarkets, restaurants and bistros catering for all tastes. You are in the heart of Paris and it also pleasingly feels like a place people live day to day rather than just being tourists or transitory. The area around Rue Cler is particularly lovely. Thanks Renaud, we'll be back.

very beautiful

Nestor was an amazing host! The apartment was super clean and tidy when we arrived, rooms were very spacious, communication occurred seamlessly and everything we needed was provided. The location was perfect, very central in the 7th arrondissement, we were able to walk everywhere. Cute restaurants, bakeries and metro stations were also very close. Overall we couldn't have asked for a better stay. Definitely looking forward to staying in this apartment again in the future! (Dear Nestor, Thank you very much for letting us stay in your beautiful apartment over the weekend. Everything was so perfect, there is nothing more to say! I am looking forward to staying with you again in the future and will definitely recommend you to my family and friends! Kind regards, Sophie)

Thoroughly enjoyable family visit

Renault was an excellent and attentive host, very easy going, and made us feel welcome in his home. The apartment was spacious, comfortable for our family of four and had lots of charm. We spent a week over the Christmas holiday in the apartment and cooked nice meals for 6, which were very enjoyable. The kitchen is equipped with basic pots and pans, an espresso maker (no coffee pot) and all the appliances worked well. The location is superb and wonderful shops, transit, bistros, patisseries, pharmacy, historical monuments within close walking distance. The farmers market on Thursday and Saturday is fantastic and should not be missed!

Lovely apartment in a fantastic Paris location

Our family recently stayed in this gorgeous apartment for 5 days while in Paris. We were so pleased with the size of the apartment (large and comfortable), and the convenient location ... we walked virtually everywhere (Eiffel Tower, Musee d'Orsay, Louvre, Notre Dame)! The owner was so friendly and helpful and we felt very welcome. We used the little patio to enjoy our coffee in the morning and our glass of wine in the evening, and our two boys (13 and 10) spent some time across the street in the park playing soccer. We only cooked dinner one night but found the kitchen to be well-appointed. If we are ever fortunate enough to return to Paris I would definitely stay here again!

Wonderful Stay

My mother had always wanted to visit Paris and we did so last April. We booked this lovely apartment and we were completely satisfied with our choice. The owner was very personable and was a most excellent host. I look forward to hopefully staying in the location again someday. We felt very safe in this neighborhood and many things were within walking distance.

A Gem of An Apartment

My husband and I and our teenage daughter enjoyed this apartment tremendously. The apartment feels like the inside of a jewelry box with its high ceilings and beautiful touches. The location is ideal, in a stunning, non-touristy, genuine Parisian neighborhood very close to landmarks, excellent restaurants and shopping. It is also across the street from a highly used park. The people-watching scenes of all the park users was mostly just lovely (families picnicking, all ages playing games or just relaxing) - although we did have two nights of very loud partiers at the park - it was amazing to me that police were not called due to the noise -- but with the windows closed and our use of "white noise" apps on our phones, we were able to sleep just fine both of those nights. The owner is gracious, professional, courteous, and an excellent and diligent communicator. Every morning we also ate at Le Boulanger des Invalides Jocteur 14 Avenue de Villars 75007. We were grateful for this find.

Nice apartment for family vacation

This was an excellent rental selection for our family vacation in Paris. I was travelling with my wife and two children, 11 and 14. The apartment was more than large enough for the four of us with two separate bedrooms. The shower and toilet are separate rooms but both are within the apartment. The kitchen seemed to have everything anyone can need though we ate out almost every meal because we were constantly on the move. Our host was Renaud who was very polite and helpful with advice and suggestions. He was very trustworthy and spoke very good English. I was a little nervous paying in cash but there were no issues with that approach as I was able to have my bank increase my ATM withdrawal limit and I used the LCL ATM right around the corner to get the cash at a good exchange rate. On the last day, he returned the cash deposit I gave him at the start of the visit and met us and called a cab for pickup. Per Google maps, the apartment is a 3 minute walk from the Saint-François-Xavier Metro stop, a 9 minute walk to the École Militaire Metro stop and a 20 minute walk to the base of the Eiffel Tower. Each morning we ate at the Le Boulanger des Invalides at 14 Avenue de Villars. This is right across the street from the Saint-François-Xavier Metro stop and was recommended by Renaud. The staff there was very polite and patient and started our day off right. I highly recommend this apartment.

A great choice

A delightful host and a great apartment! Everything previous reviews said are true: location near Napoleon's tomb (Invalides), in fact it was our landmark for navigating back home after exploring the surrounding markets, shops, patisseries and restaurants on foot. Rue Cler is a 10-minute walk; it's a quintessential Parisian market street with small shops and eateries. You pass the Eiffel Tower getting there. I stopped to watch a group of older Frenchmen playing Boulles or Petanque (like bocce or lawn bowling) at the base of the Eiffel Tower. You can walk to many of the museums (Rodin, d'Orsay, even the Louvre if you'd like some exercise - about 30 minutes walk). Metro stop is within a few blocks, although we walked or took a taxi. If you take a taxi from CDG it's about 50 euros before tip, but you can take train or metro too. I had trouble with my iPhone and found an Apple store in the underground at the Louvre! Apartment kitchen was perfect for fixing dinners when we didn't go to cafes. The living room is spacious, dining room would hold 6 easily. The patio off the smaller bedroom is delightful, though it was too chilly to use properly in March. It still made a nice view to wake up to. Larger bedroom looks out on the park out front. A very quiet area. You will love it! Nestor provided maps, suggestions, was very prompt answering any questions, and meeting us before and after to see us off.

Hightly recommended XXXXX

Our host Nestor is a delightful chap with a great sense of humour, who went out of his way to meet us at the best time for us, and even supplied designer teas for "the English"! The apartment is in a very up-market part of town on a beautiful tree-lined avenue with wide green spaces to look out onto, just south of the Invalides, which looked stunning in the afternoon sun as we arrived. It is a short walk through a park to the Grand Palais, and only a little further to the Champs Elysees and Eiffel Tower. The apartment is very IMPRESSIVE, with lovely views, comfortable beds and lots of space ... something quite rare in Paris. Nestor left us with maps and lots of info as to where to eat etc., and the local bar/restaurant just by the Invalides is well worth a visit for lunch or dinner. The food was amazing! We had a wonderful stay, and wouldn't hesitate to recommend this apartment and its host.

Lovely apartment in a safe area near Eiffel Tower

We stayed at the Mandarin Oriental last year while in Paris so we had high expectations for our accommodations. This was our first time using this website and we were thrilled with the apartment, location and wonderful hospitality from Nestor! It was amazing to live like a Parisian in such a beautiful flat. Everything was very clean and comfortable. Don't miss the wonderful boulangerie with pink walls right around the corner from the apartment!

A such wonderful stay :D

What a wonderful apartment! ;) The location was perfect for us....elegant neighborhood with many restaurants, markets and bakeries just around the corner. Walking distance to everything, and a cab is easy to hail right in front of Les Invalides, if needed. The building is very secure, and the lift is a blessing for luggage...The beds and linens (down duvets!) were extremely comfortable, and having a bathroom with separate toilet is great! Both bedrooms were inviting and there was plenty of closet space, which is rare to find :p . We did not cook (it's Paris!) but the kitchen is complete with all you would possibly need, the living room is spacious and the wifi is strong! Nestor has given much care and personal attention to this special apartment, and takes pride in being the perfect host. He was very helpful and accommodating with our requests for recommendations, and went out of his way to make us comfortable and welcomed, and we felt we were leaving a friend when we departed. ;) We would definitely return, and recommend this apartment highly. Thank you, Nestor! :)

wonderful apartment

I stayed Nestor's wonderful apartment with my parents, it was a very satisfactory stay and we were very glad. The home is very close to the Tomb of Napoleon and Eiffel Tower. There is a very near mini market and a bakery shop where you may find various delicious breads. Nestor was very nice, concerned and even helped us to find a taxi, actually for 2 times :) He is too kind that I forget my belt and he suggested shipping it back to me. If you want to stay in a comfortable, beautiful place in Paris, Nestor's home is what you are searching for. If i come back to Paris, i'll only come back to his apartment !
