About this property
Tuscan Home For Your Perfect Relaxing Vacation
Casa Cappellino stands on 3 acres of gardens and vineyard amongst the Tuscan hills. These grounds are lovingly landscaped with pond, olive grove, vineyard, fruit trees and flowering plants.
The property is located in the true, genuine, Italian countryside - far enough from the major tourist areas so that authentic Italian life can be experienced.
From the house, it is possible to explore the nearby hills and fields bountiful with wild-life, chestnuts, walnuts, mushrooms, rare ferns, and wildflowers. Casa Cappellino overlooks a small and tranquil village in which residents have lived for generations.
The famous restaurant 'Il Rifugio', that attracts patrons from Milan and Florence, is within a 10-minute walk.
Your house overlooks the beautifully landscaped grounds that provide a peaceful and secluded holiday retreat for relaxing and intimate getaways. The terrace is the perfect place to sunbathe, read, and dine.
The house has two large bedrooms with double beds; and the open (well equipped) kitchen, dining, and living areas are spacious and airy.
We are centrally situated within easy access to the major attractions. So day trips to Florence, Pisa, Bologna, Cortona, Siena, Perugia, Assisi, Rome are easily accomplished.
At Casa Cappellino, it is our goal to make your stay the most memorable possible.

About the host
Hosted by Raul
Hi. We are a Colombo-American family who love to travel, meet new people, and learn about different cultures. We enjoy a spiritual and simple life, being surrounded by beautiful landscapes, great wine, and delicious food. We speak fluent English and Spanish, and have a decent understanding of Italian and speak the basics.
Why they chose this property
When you enter the grounds you are immediately surrounded by the peaceful beauty of the property including the beautiful landscaping, our amazing vineyard, the many different fruit trees, the olive trees, rabbits, ponds, etc., etc. And just look up and there is the house where the famous Michelangelo was born and the amazing surrounding hills.
What makes this property unique
In this region of Tuscany, you find the Italy everyone dreams about. Of course, our amazing local restaurants serve the wonderful, reasonably priced food you expect; however, in addition, just strolling down to the local grocery store you will meet the most wonderfully genuine Italian neighbours who will be so happy to share a few words with you (in Italian of course)
