Great family Ski Trip

We enjoyed our stay at Donner Dayz. The hot tub was a highlight, and the owners were quickly responsive to every request. The kitchen was well stocked for our family dinners, and we loved waking up to the beautiful views from the living room. We hope to come back again!

Very comfortable stay at an amazingly stocked house

This place was the ideal stay for a group of friends looking to head to the nearby ski resorts for a weekend. There is a lot I could mention that was great, including the awesome outdoor hot tub, but I think most surprising of all was how absolutely stocked the kitchen was. We brought many supplies to cook our own meals and it turned out that 75% of it was already provided free to use. Spices, flour, sugar, soups, sauces, creamer, honey, syrup, the list went on. Anyway, highly recommend John as a host. He was super welcoming, very responsive, and extremely helpful for any issues we had.

A family favorite!

We have stayed at several different cabins in the Donner area. This cabin was by far the best! From the view, the floor plan, sleep options, and the best stocked kitchen we’ve ever had. We are already looking forward to our next trip!

John is very responsive and try to meet our needs. He even delivered a new kettle during our stay after I ask him if he happen to have one. Comfortable cabin with many supplies. Well maintained hot tub.

One of top stays ever in Tahoe

Owner called me prior to trip— very personable. I asked if they had kid-friendly plates and he said he’ll get them shipped for us!! Wow what amazing service, beyond what was expected. Super well stocked with everything needed. Clean and beds so comfortable. Zero issues. Only thing would be to have more USB plugs? Very quiet and sound proof. Sleds in garage and played in backyard. Wished we used hot tub! Roads well plowed. Can’t wait to go back!

Beautiful place and beautiful location

This cabin was so beautiful and well stocked! We had everything we needed for making our own meals for our group of 8 women celebrating a special birthday together. The hot tub was exquisitely clean… the cleanest I’ve experienced in a rental property. The location was beautiful, peaceful and relaxing. We loved this place so much that we booked it again for our friends and family trip. John was very communicative and ensured we had everything we needed to make our 4 night stay comfortable. The house is clean and well maintained. It’s also a very convenient distance to Sugar Bowl and is in a great neighborhood with a pub nearby that serves great food. This is the place to be!

Great week

We had a great week staying in this cabin. It was so comfortable for our whole family. I loved sitting on the deck and enjoying the beautiful view of the lake. It was clean, and well stocked as well. Beautiful home and location

Group of 6 friends stayed the weekend. The two masters worked well for the couples and us solo 2 were just fine in the smaller bedrooms. Home is beautiful, super well-stocked, and the views are gorgeous. Jacuzzi tub was plenty big for all of us to be inside at the same time as well. Host John was super friendly and communicative and went over the top to make sure we were accomodated. Would gladly stay at the property again.

Awesome Cabin

This cabin has everything you need for a perfect mountain escape! The home was immaculate and well stocked for anything you may need. Great floor plan that gives families plenty of room to hang out and to also have privacy if wanted. We loved hanging out in the amazing jacuzzi after snowboarding and admiring beautiful scenery with a lake view!!

Lovely cabin, amazing host!

We loved our stay at the Donner Dayz cabin. Check-in was a breeze, and communications with the host were prompt and enjoyable. The cabin is loaded with everything you could need - extra linens, towels for the hot tub, grill, fully stocked kitchen with tons of cookware, even a fully stocked pantry! The Roomba was on the fritz during our stay, but I'm sure that will be resolved, and it will be great to be able to set it to clean up while out for the day.
