4br Tahoe Donner Family Home With Hot Tub

Our two-story 4-bedroom home in Tahoe Donner is perfect for a family or two families vacationing together. It has a master bedroom upstairs and three bedrooms downstairs, a separate family room where the kids can watch TV, and a hot tub on the back deck.

Upstairs, the main living area has vaulted ceilings, floor-to-ceiling windows, and a stone fireplace. The kitchen has a solid-surface cooktop, and is well-equipped with everything from stainless steel pots & pans to a tortilla press. We keep our knives sharp, and have an easy-to-use electric sharpener on hand if needed.

Downstairs, you'll find a family room with a fireplace, cable TV, and a cabinet stocked with games and puzzles.

• Master (upstairs): California King bed. Adjoining bath with shower and two sinks.
• Guest 2 (downstairs): Queen bed
• Guest 3 (downstairs): Queen bed
• Guest 4 (downstairs): Twin-over-queen bunk bed.

The downstairs family room also has a sleeper-sofa with a pull-out double bed. All downstairs bedrooms share a bathroom with two sinks and a tub/shower.

Guests have access (for a fee) to the Tahoe Donner Recreation Center: pool, fitness center, tennis, 18-hole golf course, equestrian center, family movie nights, and more.

We enjoyed our stay at the Skislope house. The house was clean and well stocked with everything for cooking, cleaning, and with personal items like an iron and blowdryer. The hot tub was a good place to relax at the end of a busy Tahoe day. The amenities at Tahoe Donner are super family friendly. The owner, Jack, was open to any and all of our questions before and during our arrival. We defintiely hope to visit again!

Home away from home

Jack's house is beautiful, fully stocked, and has plenty of space for relaxing after a day on the slopes. The communication was great leading up to our stay and the stay itself was super easy for check and check out. Would definitely stay again!

Plenty of parking (2 car garage room for 3 cars in the driveway). Property is not too close to other buildings so it feels secluded and quite but not too remote. House is beautiful and nestled in the trees giving a feeling of being engulfed in nature. The hot tub was easy to use and the kitchen is fully stocked with dishes and utensils. The beds are pretty high but there are step stools available. Once up in them they are super comfy! Would definitely stay here again. The only complaint I heard from other guests is that the sound from upstairs carries into the lower bedrooms. It was hard from some of the early to bed folks to fall asleep.Location is great. Only a 30 minute drive to Tahoe lake.

Great house!

Great home for kids

The house was perfect for our crew! The downstairs is great for the kids(even have a pack n play)! Spacious and well equipped! Jack, the owner was so nice and easy to communicate with. Would definitely go back!

Snow trip

The cabin was fantastic! My family came for ski week and had a great time. The cabin was well provisioned and well kept. The check-in process was seamless and the owner checked in to make sure everything was good. Will definitely stay here again. I usually don’t write reviews but the owner was such a pleasure to deal with so I figured I would.

Great Weekend Getaway

We and our three adult kids and 2 spouses had a wonderful Tahoe Donner weekend at this lovely home. Great location, great layout, fully equipped for two eat-in dinners. We’ve rented a few other nearby homes with hot tubs and, more often than not, they either don’t work or are on the cool side. This hot tub was great, nice and hot and a spectacular view. Would definitely rent again !

Ski week

We had a great stay and we’re lucky to have a snow storm while there to make a great ski week. The house was great for our family and my sons college friends. The lower level allowed the college kids to do their thing. The hot tub was nice to soothe our sore muscles after a day of skiing. Will stay again.

Didn’t want to leave! Great place!

We loved this house! Had two families with four teenagers and four adults. Lots of space. Loved the family room so kids had their own space. Nice porch for hanging out, and everything we needed was there including laundry. Host was very helpful and responsive. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Perfect snow vacation

We had an amazing time. Our family really appreciated the extra downstairs space for the kids, and dipping into the hot tub after playing in the snow every day was amazing. Beautiful living space with floor to ceiling windows, well stocked kitchen. Jack was very responsive when we couldn’t figure out how to work the fireplace. We will be back!

Great home for family vacation

4 adults, 2 kids under 5 and a dog! Awesome!!!! Property was well stocked so we only needed to pick up a few essentials. Everyone loved the hot tub! Roasted marshmallows and s’mores all around. Bentley, the mascot, participated in several activities. Very apparent that the owner, Jack and his family, wanted his guests to feel at home and enjoy their stay. Thank you, Jack and family (and Bentley)!

Labor Day Weekend family getaway

The home was perfect for our family! The downstairs family room was perfect for our granddaughters. We all enjoyed the hot tub too. The house could have used a thorough deep cleaning. The bathroom window sills had dead bugs on them & the floors in the bathrooms had dirt on them. The gas grill was filthy & there were tongs in the barbeque that hadn’t been cleaned. There was also a small zip lock bag of small tomatoes that had been left on the entry table. The kitchen & laundry room & bathrooms were well stocked with soap, paper towels , spices & towels. The hot tub was clean & ready for use. We would definitely stay there again!

Donner Lake Family Getaway

We just returned from a wonderful four night stay at this truly relaxing and beautiful vacation home. It has to be one of my absolute favorite homes I’ve ever stayed in with my family. The house had four nice size bedrooms, a very large media room, a well stocked bright kichen, a very comfortable living room, and a gorgeous back deck with lovely views of pine trees and the mountain tops. The owner was prompt with checking in with us upon arrival to make sure we had everything we needed and to ask if we had any questions about the property. We really appreciated his hospitality and open communication during our stay. My family and I will definitely like to return to this house for future trips to Donner Lake. The house is very close proximity to the lake, shops, and many of our favorite restaurants in downtown Truckee. Lastly we enjoyed the very clean hot tub located on the bottom deck. It was set to a comfortable temperature and has been well maintained. Overall, I would give this home an exceptional rating and can’t wait to stay there again!
