Vacation on the Lake

Cozy cabin on the best fishing hole on a beautiful mountain lake. Cabin has three bedrooms and a loft, two bathrooms, a modern kitchen, and all the usual amenities (cable tv, wireless internet, outdoor grill, washer/ dryer, etc). The second story deck looks out over the lake and our private dock. Just minutes from historic Truckee in the beautiful Sierra Mountains. Enjoy fishing, swimming, boating, biking, and hiking just by stepping out the door.

This was, without a doubt, one of the best vacation rentals I have ever stayed in. To put that into perspective, I've traveled and stayed in properties all over the world, and this home truly stands out.The house was incredibly well-equipped, comfortable, and welcoming. It had everything you could possibly need for a perfect lake getaway, including kayaks, paddleboards, fishing equipment, board games, and a fully stocked kitchen. We usually bring our own spices because most rentals don't provide them, but this home even had that covered.The beds were exceptionally comfortable, the entire property was spotless, and every detail made it feel like a true home away from home. The host was outstanding and always responsive whenever we had a question.We also found a boat rental company that conveniently delivered the boat right to our dock and picked it up at the end of our stay, which made the experience even better.The setting was beautiful, peaceful, and relaxing. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would stay again in a heartbeat. Thank you for such a wonderful experience!

It was a wonderful experience. We all had a great time and liked the cabin. There was ample space for six adults; we didn't need or use the loft which would be great for children.

Exactly what we were looking for!

My family and I had a fantastic stay at this property, the set up and location are perfect! Kids loved sleeping in the loft area, kitchen well stocked, amazing deck(s) and dock along with everything you need to enjoy your time on the lake (paddleboards, kayaks, canoe, life jackets, etc.). Perfection!

Perfect location

Best fishing

We have stayed here a few times now, we love the peace and solitude. Sitting on the deck looking at the lake with my coffee is my favorite while my husband takes his coffee to the private pier to fish. The house is always perfect and has everything to meet our needs.

This property is a real gem! Beautiful cabin. Great location right on the lake. Caught a rainbow trout right off the dock! Has all the amenities you need. Great place to relax & unwind. Really enjoyed our stay!

Another wonderful stay

This is the second time we have stayed at this property. The first time was 5 years ago, and the property is still just as nice. You can't beat the location being right on the lake with private dock and beautiful view. The woodwork inside the cabin is beautiful, and the cabin is very spacious and clean.

The cabin has been owned by our family since it was built for my parents. When we inherited it we made many updates including new kitchen and bathrooms, new paneling, windows, and more. Yet it remains a family cabin, with the best fishing on the lake!
