This delightful 2 bedroom cottage is tucked away behind the high street, away from the hustle and bustle of the town yet only a short walk to the beach, iconic pier and beach hut lined promenade. The spacious upside down accommodation takes advantage of the fabulous view from its superb open plan living area on the first floor. With a pretty sheltered garden, balcony and the all important private parking space, it's a perfect place for a seaside holiday or a short break at any time of the year.
Hidden behind the high street in Southwold, this is the perfect getaway spot.
Step up to the front door and into the spacious hall, where doors lead into the bathroom and both bedrooms. Carpeted stairs lead to the first floor.
Master Bedroom:
There is a double bed, with 2 bedside tables and spacious built in wardrobes. Glazed doors lead out into the enclosed paved garden.
Bedroom 2:
Double bed, 2 bedside table, double wardrobe and a chest of drawers, windows looking out to the garden.
Bathroom:
Walk in corner shower, WC, hand basin, heated towel rail, shaving socket and bath with a mixer tap.
First floor landing leading to:
Spacious, bright and airy open plan living / dining / kitchen area with dining table and 4 chairs. Windows overlook the beautiful garden, and the views look out to Southwold Church and the neighbouring houses.
The sitting area has a 2 sofas, an armchair and a "soft" rocking chair. There is a TV with terrestrial channels only and a DVD player . There is also a dedicated workspace, should you need to work during your stay. French doors lead out to the balcony with lovely views of the church and beyond.
Well equipped kitchen with gas hob and oven, fridge, dishwasher, kettle and toaster, a good range of storage cupboards and views over the courtyard at the front. There is a small tabletop freezer, washing machine and dryer which can be found in the garage.
The enclosed garden is paved with mature shrubs, including a beautiful pink camellia, and is furnished with garden furniture comprising a table and chairs and a wooden bench. The garage is accessed through a door from the garden. The garage can be used to store bicycles. There are two parking spaces for Camellia Cottage is in front of the house.
