Gorgeous setting and peaceful stay! The house was well appointed with everything we needed and the grounds were gorgeous. We loved looking out on the farm in the evenings.
This is a beautiful location to stay, especially in the fall. It’s nice and quiet. The house is decorated adorably. The bathroom and kitchen were nicely stocked with items you would need for a week long stay. Extra blankets, pillows, and towels. Great for a family of four.
This stay was outstanding in every way. The property is a restored cape that is tastefully decorated and located in a picturesque area of Connecticut. We had plenty of space for 4 of us, with access to all the places we needed to visit. Our host, Stephanie, was easy to communicate with. I woulddefinitely stay here again.
Loved the charm of the home. Loved the tranquility and beauty gifted to us in this property. One of my favorite little details in the home was the visitor's book!! Would love to visit again.

Thank you for such a nice review. So glad you enjoyed your stay. We barely knew you were there! Thank you for leaving the house is such nice shape.
We had a fabulous stay! The house was beautifully decorated, well equipped and had plenty of room. The property was gorgeous and well maintained. We loved visiting the horses at the barn and seeing them in the fields. The property was quiet and peaceful. Stephanie and Chris were wonderful and were always available to answer any questions.
We had a lovely stay at this property. The house was cozy, clean, and lived up to it's "charming" description. There were so many interesting details in the furnishings. It was exactly or even better than what I expected from the photos. The house is well equipped and spacious. The bed and bedding was very comfortable and it's so peaceful and quiet. I haven't slept that well in ages! I would definitely stay here again or recommend this property to friends and family.
We came for the Elephant's Trunk flea market, to explore some historic towns and enjoy nature through hikes at some local state parks. This location was central to all of them and perfect to come "home" to. So beautiful, peaceful and comfortable. Thanks to our host for making everything easy and welcoming.
We absolutely loved this property. The house was historic and cozy and adorable filled with beautiful little antiques. The table was set beautifully when we walked in. We loved staying here. The extra bonus was being able to see the horses over our morning coffee.
We had a wonderful time at the farmhouse. The house is cozy and perfect for a family stay. This was our second visit and we enjoyed every minute of being at the house.
We had a wonderful stay, everything was clean and comfortable. The farm animals were great to see while we were there. Would definitely recommend this wonderful location.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the hospitality. The place was remarkable and we can't wait for another opportunity to stay at this wonderful place.

And we can't wait for you two to come back. Always a pleasure to have quests like you. Till next time.
The house was charming, with lots of character and bucolic serenity. A nice location with pastoral vistas and convenient access to town. The only slightly negative feature was the somewhat steep and narrow (treads) stairs providing access to the upper level bedrooms. Shouldn’t be a problem for most people though. Our host was also very welcoming.
Would definitely stay again. The house was perfect and felt like I was back in time in New England. And if you're animal lovers, you'll love it here with the roaming pigs and beautiful horses.
Can’t say enough good things about this property! A lovely antique house impeccably furnished. Kitchen well-stocked.Modern bathrooms. Comfortable beds. Wi-Fi access. Close to town. A gorgeous setting!Stephanie was the consummate host (yes, she brought us muffins), friendly, helpful, and readily available. Will definitely recommend to friends and family.
We were in Woodbury for a funeral for my uncle and this was such a nice place to come back to at the end of an emotional couple of days. Close to town, but so peaceful and private.
