The coast is within easy reach, with highlights including Lunan Bay, Montrose Beach, and St Cyrus Beach all within 12 miles. From Brechin you can take a trip by steam train on the Caledonian Railway. Other local attractions include Langley Park Gardens, Montrose Air Station Museum, The Caterthuns, and The House of Dun and Angus Folk Museum (all within 8 miles).
