This charming two-story, 2 bedroom and 2-1/2 bath Villa offers close to 1,591 square feet of living space, two porches, a balcony, and a convenient one-car garage complete with a golf cart.

Downstairs you will find a spacious living room, dining room and fully appointed kitchen with breakfast counter, refrigerator with icemaker, microwave, Regular coffee pot, Keurig, dishwasher and laundry area with full-size washer and dryer. In addition to the main living areas downstairs, you will find a half bath as well as a large screened back porch with access from the kitchen. You may also access the garage from the kitchen where you will find plenty of storage area, beach gear (cooler, chairs, mats, etc.), a gas grill, as well as an outdoor cooker (with an assortment of pots) that can be used for all your exterior cooking needs. (Seafood, Crawfish, Fish, Turkey, etc.)

Upstairs, you will discover the master suite and additional guest room. The master suite has a generous master bath with a large garden tub, a large separate glass-enclosed shower, a double vanity and a separate commode room. Just off the master bedroom, you may enjoy the view and gulf breeze while lounging on the second-story balcony. The additional upstairs bedroom has plenty of closet space and a large full bath. Other features include 9- and 10-foot ceilings, central heat and air conditioning, ceiling fans, and lots of storage areas.

We love Martinique and enjoy our time there. The house had all we needed and then some. However when we got there I had to unload the dishwasher and fold towels and put away out of the dryer. Really the last thing I wanted to do when I got on vacation.

A little disappointed

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo was decorated nicely, there was plenty of room for us 4, and the kitchen had everything one would need in it. However, the master bed was beyond uncomfortable to the point we contemplated leaving early from lack of sleep & body aches. We used the washer & dryer and several of our clothing items has brownish black streaks on them after laundering them.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Everything was perfect like it always is. Except the security was a little too aggressive. Yelled at my daughter who had backed a car out in order for another car to get out. While she was sitting in car waiting the lady yelled loudly "you can't park there". Other friends in other units had similar stories. No reason to be rude in this situation.

Great family beach house

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our first trip to the Gulf Shores area and our first time at Martinique on the Gulf. Our family of four had a great time and would recommend the community and our beach house, Peaceful Shores. The house was roomy and comfortable. The kitchen has everything you need from knives, bowls and skillets to griddle, waffle maker and more. Tupperware containers! We used the coffee pot, but they also have a Keurig. We enjoyed sitting on the front porch and the screened in back porch. Lots of beach supplies in the garage. I do recommend bringing a wagon that can haul your things from the golf cart parking area across the boardwalk and across the sand. We did rent umbrellas and chairs for our beach days, but some brought their own canopies and umbrellas. Great section of private beach. Very convenient to have one of the pools right along the boardwalk, especially when one of our kids wanted beach and the other the pool. No restaurants or community events, so we mostly cooked at home. I liked being 20 mins from the Gulf Shores crowds, but if you like being in the middle of the restaurants, bars and crowds, this might not be your place. For our young family, it was great. If you want to take the Fort Morgan ferry, do it on a weekday. Summer weekend traffic is crazy and it was selling out 2 hours in advance.

Among the dozens of properties our family has rented, we’ve dealt with many “surprises”- deceptive photos, broken appliances, inconvenient locations, misleading descriptions... PEACEFUL SHORE is the first in many years to deliver in every category and then some!This was our first time vacationing on the Fort Morgan side of Gulf Shores, and commuting to the center of GS for restaurants/shopping was our only (mild) concern; it NEVER felt like a “commute” and really made for more fond memories as we enjoyed the sights and scenery during our peaceful drive along Fort Morgan Rd (SR-180).Peaceful Shore is truly a home. The abundant kitchen supplies, the floats and bikes, the FABULOUS GOLF CART, the comfortable beds, the inviting living room and screen porch... even the Lilypad Toad Choir went from noticeable to a comforting serenade each night. We loved meeting other travelers at the pool (we tended towards the beach-front pool but both pools were beautiful), and a sense of camaraderie and kindness among the community came through in each interaction. Speaking of community, the guards working the gate were exceptionally welcoming and helpful and made us feel like we belonged. One feature that brought us a joy-filled bonus was admiring the world-class photography and artwork throughout the Peaceful Shore property. Spending time in the home of a masterful artist and being surrounded by the artist’s beautiful work was a one-of-a-kind experience that we will never forget. I found myself looking up his photography after our trip and spent an entire afternoon enjoying the breathtaking wildlife and environments he has captured. What a special family this must be! The house was very spacious and clean. Neighborhood was very quiet. The golf cart was a bonus!

We found it convenient to everywhere we wanted to go. The house was in a great location with great amenities. We enjoyed the pool and tranquility of the neighborhood. We also enjoyed of being able to take the bikes or the golf cart. The beach was very nice. The only thing my mother-in-law’s comment was that on the warning sign to look out for gators and snakes, rats were never mentioned 🤣🤣. Definitely will go back.

However, the grill was not cleaned by previous guest and had pieces of fish cooked onto it. We couldn’t even use it because it smelled so horrible.
