Please note that this is not an entire home rental like the details list. This is a bedroom and bathroom in someone else's home, and Villa Rose is a separate bedroom and bathroom also for rent in the same home that the owner lives in. TravelNest, the host management company, is also limiting contact between owners and renters to seemingly keep this from becoming obvious. The owner and the host management company refused to make it right and allow cancelation and refund when we found this out. Don't be tricked like we were.

We were greeted by the owner who lives on-site in the downstairs part of the house. He insisted on helping carry our luggage up the stairs, had baked us scones and we felt he would have done anything to make our stay just right. When we left, the owner insisted on helping bring our cases down the stairs too.This is a self catered hotel room and as such is very well appointed. The kitchen area had a selection of teas and coffees provided together with cutlery, crockery, fridge and microwave. The bathroom was also well stocked and we wanted for nothing. There was no sink in the kitchen area so washing up required a trip to the bathroom as that was the only room with running water available.The negative is that the property is not where it appears on Vrbo's map or on Google maps. It is not in the centre of Cahersiveen and is certainly not 2-3 mins walk from Cahersiveen's sights. It is about 30 minutes walk into Cahersiveen and the first section from the house has no pavement.
