Wonderful location

We had a wonderful stay at this roomy holiday home with good facilities and provisions. The area is quiet yet the local beach is magnificent and within walking distance. We brought our bikes and the local area was perfect for cycling with quiet roads and interesting coastal routes. Our friends who are musicians enjoyed playing in the local pubs in Cahersiveen, Ballinskelligs and Waterville

Spacious and comfortable house

We spent one week in Ballinskelligs and had a great time there. The house is very spacious and comfortable and is equipped with everything you need. Checking in was easy, too. There is a lot to visit - Kerry Cliffs, castles, ring forts and Skellig Michael, of course this is quite expensive. House and surroundings are quiet and peaceful, but there are several supermarkets in Cahersiveen and a small but well-equipped shop only a few minutes away. A clear recommendation from us - and congratulations to Kerrys win in the All Ireland Final 2025!

Peaceful Recharging Stay

The property was very spacious and very clean with everything we needed. It was perfect for us. Noreen was helpful when asked questions but also gave us 100% privacy. Description was very accurate and no complaints at all. If you are looking for peace, nature and spaciousness this is the place for you. Brandy the dog’s daily visits were also sweet as she is a very well behaved dog.

Our few days of relaxation.

Sea Shell Cottage is such a wonderful place to stay. The house is so spacious and the view is unbelievable. It's got all you need for a lovely stay. The walks, scenery, beach, donkeys and ever changing weather, made our time there just so lovely. Not forgetting the daily visits from Brandy, the dog. My husband and I stayed there with two of our friends, they thoroughly enjoyed it too. We would all go back again in a flash! The host was available if we needed anything, just a text away. Best House in Ballinskelligs

Amazing views of the ocean and landscape. You will forget about work and truly reconnect to all that matters in this lifetime. The night sky is brilliant and looks like an ocean of diamonds. Beach walks are invigorating and the ever changing sky delivers the most stunning photo opportunities. You’ll never want to return home.

Beautiful Location, Newer Home, Nice Owners, Not adequately supplied.

This is a very nice, new home with 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, very spacious and extremely CLEAN. The hardwood floors were beautiful, the beds very comfortable. The home definitely felt more "upscale" and modern. The owners were very responsive and pleasant, but it all seemed more of a business transaction than the welcoming feel we received from our other homes in Ireland. The home was decorated very modern and again very clean, but no blankets to snuggle under by the fire, no stock of toilet paper, no paper towels, no wash cloths for showering, even bath towels were one per person for a 6 day stay. (Owner did offer to bring one more towel per person after I contacted her looking for a linen closet that did not exist.) The owners of this home met you on arrival to read the meters, then met you on exit to read them again and charge you extra for, in my opinion, what I have already paid for by renting this home. This does seem to be somewhat common in this area, but did not happen in our 2 other homes in Ireland that we paid the same amount per day to rent. Not an unpleasant stay, but definitely not as warm and fuzzy as our other homes we were in on our trip to Ireland. We would stay here again but would know to bring our own toilet paper and wash cloths!
