Embrace the tranquility, but keep in mind that bugs are a part of this natural setting. Ants, wasps, mosquitos, black flies, and ladybugs are active during spring, summer, and fall. While they pose no threat to your safety, having bug spray on hand will enhance your outdoor enjoyment. Lighting a fire can also be an effective way to keep them at bay.

After almost two months of entertaining friends and family, my husband and I needed a little vacation. This home was perfect!! Such a beautiful property and we relaxed on the hammock and outdoor patio. We walked in the peaceful meadows. We read and enjoyed a glass of wine. The outdoor fireplace and additional fire pit gave us options for nighttime. The stars in the sky absolutely twinkle…so amazing! We also went into Stowe every night for dinner (highly recommend Edson Hill). If you want to cook, the kitchen is very well stocked! Excellent communication and instructions. The place was very clean and the grounds were very well maintained. Top notch! We will be returning for sure!
Greens Mountain Meadow is EVERY magical thing shown in the photos and more! The owners obviously put their whole heart and soul into this magnificent home. And the property managers go above and beyond making sure that everything is perfect. We were 2 Moms and 4 teens/young adults on our annual VT ski getaway. The location is perfect for Stowe, Smuggs, Jay Peak skiing. We loved being secluded yet close to skiing and the beautiful towns. It snowed a lot while we were there! It was like being inside a snow globe. Big flakes falling, visible from all of the gorgeous windows while a roaring fire warmed us when we lounged on the comfy couches or played cards at the big table. The Chef Mom enjoyed every second of creating comfort food on the antique stove... and the boys enjoyed every second of eating it.This home provides you with a true Vermont winter experience. Snow, fabulous mountain views, starry skies, warm and comfy vibe. The beds are so so comfy! The silo is stunning and fun. The heated garage was an incredible plus. You can get away without full 4x4 capabilities. But keep in mind, this is winter mountain territory & should be prepared. As a former vacation rental property manager, I was so impressed. Every little detail was thought of, from plenty of wood & kindling for fires, cozy blankets, a lovely and thoughtful welcome basket and my favorite... quality TP & paper towels. (Ha Ha, its a property manager thing.)You will not be disappointed. Five Stars all around.
What a dreamy location for a family gathering of the generations. This breathtaking structure comfortably housed 14 of us, with a couple of couches to spare! We enjoyed breakfasts and dinners I. The grand dining area, made fires both inside and out, watching the stars and playing games in the evenings. My grandkids loved the peddle boat on the pond and the magical Forest of the Witches Hat Treehouse. We even got to enjoy a remarkable storm from the great window that we won’t soon forget. Memories were made and will be treasured. .
