Martinshouse Holiday Cottage sits in the beautiful Border countryside.
A spacious detached self-catering cottage on one level, with amazing views and excellent walks from your doorstep. We are situated 2 miles from the town of Hawick and set back from the main road. There are fantastic views from every window yet the owners are just along the road in case you require any assistance. The cottage has private parking for 2/3 cars and also features a fully enclosed garden which is ideal if you are bringing your furry friends. We do have an additional charge for pets which is due to be paid on arrival £25 for first pet then an additional £5 per extra pet. We would ask that all dog mess is picked up and binned, and please remember if you have a pet you are fully responsible for them at all times.
The cottage 2 bedrooms one king size and one double and a single bed which are fully made up for your arrival, accommodating up to 5 guests with a king size bed in the master bedroom and a double and single bed in the second bedroom. All bed linen is provided for each guest and the beds are made up for your arrival. You will enjoy a comfortable nights sleep in our luxury bedding and extremely comfortable mattresses.
The spacious living room is warm and comfy with heating and also an electric fire, a 42" television with Freeview channels also unlimited Wi-fi. You will enjoy the reclining sofas for you to put your feet up after a day exploring. The Kitchen is fully equipped with everything you would have at home, everything from cooker, microwave, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, crockery, utensils and also a washing machine. The bathroom has been renovated to a very high standard with a newly fitted walk-in shower. Please note, all electric and hot water is included in your stay.
Martinshouse is a self-catering cottage although we provide tea, coffee, sugar, milk and biscuits so you can enjoy a hot drink when you arrive. The cottage is heated with night storage heaters and you can adjust these to your comfort.
The garden has a patio for eating equipped with table and chairs we also provide a small BBQ if you are lucky enough to get the sunshine!!
