Surrounded by stunning countryside, yet just a short drive to Alnwick and the Northumberland coast, it’s ideal for walkers, couples, or families. Unwind in comfort and enjoy the tranquillity of this hidden gem. Your perfect countryside escape awaits!



The Space:

Living Room & Dining - Cosy living space with dining area for 4 or workspace for a laptop, complete with wood burning stove



Kitchen - Beautifully equipped kitchen with fridge, freezer, oven, hob, microwave, kettle and coffee machine.



Laundry - Washer & Clothes Dryer



Bathroom - Shower/bath with quality towels and essential amenities provided



Bedroom One - Superking size bed and quality linen, ample hanging space, dressing area with mirror & drawer storage. Hairdryer provided.



Bedroom Two - Located up stairs, there is twin beds with quality linen and drawer storage.



Internet - Wifi available



Entertainment - Smart TV with freeview. You are also able to log into your own Netflix/Amazon Prime/NOWTV/Apple TV and Disney+ accounts



We have a great outdoor space with seating for eating out outside and a large grass area. This isn't a secured garden.



We also have a bike shed available for you to use.



Parking - Please park in the allocated parking space, or at the front of the property.

There is free on street parking at the front of the proeprty.



Or you can park in our allocated parking space at the back (please only park in our allocated space).

Wool cottage was a lovely, comfortable home. Perfect for 3 people and a dog. Fully equipped with everything we needed. Situated in the village of Shilbottle - one of our favourite areas in Alnwick. Close to all amenities. We enjoyed a meal at the indian restairant in the village and had a day out to Cragside (national trust house & gardens) and lots of nice dog walks along the coast. Thanks to Ben for great communication, making the whole process & stay go smoothly. We would certainly visit Wool Cottage again.
