This was a gorgeous cabin retreat! The directions to find it were well written. The cabin itself was clean, beautifully decorated, and well stocked for anything you would need. The hot tub was a wonderful treat, sitting on the back deck in the hot tub surrounded by the forest was the perfect relaxation! We loved this place and will definitely keep it in mind for future trips!
We had a great time. Although it is a small place, we never felt cramped or crowded. The place had everything you'd need. We loved all the hiking nearby, shopping and eating in Bryson City, and relaxing in the hot tub. Can't wait to return!

A slice of Heaven in the North Carolina woods
This cottage was the perfect place for a quiet week. Easy access to Bryson City and the National Park, with good hiking in the Nahantala Forest too! And, if rafting is your thing, just head west on US-74 for a few minutes and you're there! But, mostly, it's the place to relax and unwind -- just "let it go."

Everything was great. Shelby was proactive in checking in with us to see if we got in okay and had any concerns. Answered quickly when I called her with a question
We had real nice relaxing week. Property was as described, no issues, clean, very peaceful. Weather was beautiful all week, hot tub at night with a full moon was priceless. We did the train ride, saw elk, fontana dam, walked trails in Smokies. Saw waterfalls and made the 2hr drive to Chimney Rock State Park....that was amazing park. Overall great place to stay and wonderful late September vacation. Thank you
We spent our Christmas holiday at this cozy space. We enjoys snuggling up in the king bed for family movies and the kitchen has enough to cook all of our meals. The outside is very private with a covered space to enjoy. The location is perfect. Right off the interstate so easy to get to alot of areas for exploring but tucked away for enough privacy. We visited the polar express, tube world, Bryson city, and Cataloochee valley for elk watching. 10/10 would recommend this stay. Looking forward to returning to explore more of the surrounding areas.

Needs some work
Cute place and clean. The toilet would not flush correctly we had to plunge it every time. The fitted sheet on the king bed were old and had hard balls on the fabric.

I am glad that your found our cabin cute and clean. We are very sorry about the plumbing issue during your stay. We had our plumber out and the issue has been resolved. We also are replacing the sheets now that we know there is an issue. Thanks for staying.
My husband and I like coming to the area to do some fishing. We loved this little cabin and the beautiful surroundings. We had beautiful weather and all the spring flowers and spring blooms were on the trees. The view from the front porch looked over a yard with purple and pink blooms on the trees, and a pretty gravel road with a small creek running beside it. The back yard was surrounded by woods with a lot of privacy. We enjoyed the fire pit and the hot tub in the evenings, so incredibly relaxing. We also enjoyed grilling several of the fish we had caught on the grill. The inside was decorated very cute, it was clean, and had everything we needed. We definitely will be back to this little cove!
The cabin was nice. Everything we needed was basically there. Cooking stuff, paper products, even dish soap. No issues accessing cabin except 1st night. We arrived after sunset and the cabin was a smidge difficult to find. I’d suggest jotting down door code before coming off main road. The internet was scarce of course when we arrived. The only major issue for us was the bed. It isn’t comfortable at all, someone else may find the bed fine but I prefer a thicker mattress. I think the living room
Would benefit with another sofa or oversized chair. There really wasn’t anywhere to stretch out at night except for the bed. Overall our stay was great. If the mattress was switched out and more seating options added I would definitely rent this cabin again.
We’ve stayed here before and knew what to expect. It’s a cute small cabin in the woods and it’s close to the Almond marina which was great. Nice that it has a grill and for a small kitchen it really has everything you need. We saw a spider the size of my hand when packing up to leave which honestly is fine given the fact it’s a cabin in the woods. The mattress is also not comfortable which I can get past given the price of the rental. What I had a hard time w is the cleanliness of the hot tub. It looked a little murky but smelled strongly of chlorine so we figured it was fine. We both ended up w a horrible rash from the bacteria in the tub. I actually got one last time we stayed but didn’t equate it to the hot tub. They need to drain and decontaminate the hot tub so it doesn’t happen to another guest. Chlorine doesn’t kill everything and given the number of guests and frequent use of the tub it’s important they’re treating and cleaning it appropriately.

HI Meghan
We were happy to host you another time! We are surprised to see the comments in your review since we received no communications from you during your entire stay. Our hot tub maintenance person is certified to properly clean and maintain the sanitization of the tub. He tests it and cleans it weekly and sometimes more as needed. If you had shared your concerns during your stay we would have sent him over the same day to look at the tub. The guest before and after your stay did not have an issue so perhaps you have an allergy to chlorine? I am so sorry that you had an issue! Our primary goal is our guests comfort and satisfaction. We also have Terminix Pest Control come out quarterly to keep up with the critters that inhabit the area. Should you have alerted me to your "visitor" I could have also called my rep and had him out within 24 hours as well. I am glad you enjoyed some of the aspects of our tiny home that is nestled against a peaceful forest. We have not had any comments about the mattress until now but will check it out to see if it is time to replace it! We appreciate all of your feedback and hope your next trip to the mountains is a more pleasant one.
Such a relaxing vacation! You’re pretty well secluded, relaxing hot tub, wonderful views, and so much more. Owner was super friendly and easy to communicate with as well 😊 We will most certainly be back!
This tiny home is perfectly located and was so clean and cozy. We stayed here to mountain bike at Tsali for a few days and the location was absolutely perfect for this. Only about 10 minutes from the trailhead. We also went to the Tapoco Lodge for lunch one day, Bryson City to shop and dine and then to the Nantahala Outdoor center for another dinner. This location felt centrally located to all of this and made it easy to get around. 100% would recommend if you and your partner or a friend are looking to get away for a few days!
so quiet and peaceful!! very comfortable, we slept like babies in the comfy bed.. enjoyed sitting bye the fire and relaxing after all day adventures! cooked on the grill and enjoyed dinner on the deck.. would definitely visit again! thanks again. oh and very close to bryson, cherokee, Dillsboro and syla
My husband and I stayed for a week while we rode our motorcycle through the Smokey Mountains. It was so nice to have a place to come back to each night. Would definitely recommend staying here!
