Very warm and comfortable home. Lots of room to spread out. Furnished to a modern, high standard. A few housekeeping issues on arrival, which were sorted immediately. Communication with host was exceptional and all requests were handled promptly and efficiently to make our stay more comfortable. Note: there is no cloakroom/toilet on ground floor, gave us a bit of extra exercise. In an excellent location to access the Lake District and Bowness village centre. The Royal Oak and Flying Pig were excellent pubs to visit and The Boardwalk restaurant also had nice waterside dining.
We have the most wonderful stay for our family over three nights at the Firs. We came from all over the world and check in was very smooth. Location was perfect, so close to everything! Place was spotless and clean but still so welcoming. We had everything we needed for our stay for both the adults and kids. Would highly recommend for anyone wanting to stay in Lake District.
