About this property
Ty Hebog: Cosy 17th Century Barn with Log Burner
Ty Hebog is a cosy, self-catering converted barn at Perthi with a log burner. The barn is Grade II listed and retains original 17th-century wooden beams and historic character.
Situated just above the village of Beddgelert on a secluded working mountain farm, the cottage is only a 7-minute drive from the Rhyd Ddu Snowdon path. A footpath leads down through fields and ancient oak woodland, providing a walk into the village directly from the doorstep.
From the patio, guests can enjoy views across the Eryri mountains. The cottage is a great base for walkers, with access to local walks directly from the property.
The barn features an open-plan kitchen and living space, a private bathroom with to bach, a crog loft bedroom, off-road parking and a patio with mountain views. An electric vehicle charger is available on site (please contact us in advance to arrange use).
As a 17th-century listed building, the property retains many traditional features, including exposed beams with original wooden pegs. Please note that there are low beams at the entrance, on the steps down to the living area, and in the crog loft bedroom. Taller guests will need to take care.

About the host
Hosted by Delyth Pyrs
I’m a mum of two and run three self-catering holiday cottages at Perthi Holiday Cottages, just above Beddgelert in Snowdonia, North Wales. I don’t live on site, but my parents live in the farmhouse, and I’m only around 15 minutes away — so if you need anything during your stay, you’re very welcome to get in touch.
