My husband and I have just returned from a fabulous 2 nights stay at this cosy cottage. Within walking distance of the local shops, cafe’s, bars and restaurant this is an ideal spot for walking and exploring Beddgelert. I would highly recommend this cottage and look forward to returning again in the future.

As described, lovely location, plenty of choices to eat nearby. Comfy beds, could hear the river from the bedroom, very relaxing. Street Parking not too far away.
A lovely little cottage , with character, so close to the heart of Beddgelert. Everything we could have wanted for a short break. Would definitely return . It was lovely to be able to sit in the garden and enjoy the river, when the weather cooperated!
Cute and authentic cottage. Stayed here for 2 nights just me and my son. Very central location with a lovely stream running behind, sat here both nights with a glass of wine! Lovely comfortable beds and modern bathroom. A 1 minute walk to pubs cafes and trails. Looking forward to returning. Great communication from the owners Ailsa and Derek

We had a wonderful stay at the cottage for 3 nights with the family, including dogs.
Great communication throughout from the hosts. Properly was very clean and in a beautiful area too - not far from Watkin path. The village itself has lots to see and do, with lakeside walks and local shops, bars and restaurants. Highly recommend.
A beautiful little cottage, very nice cosy. It had all necessary equipment and in a great location. We loved it and really enjoyed our stay. Highly recommend!

We loved our stay here! A lovely little cottage perfectly located in a charming village by Snowdon with great pubs and independent shops. We didn't have a car and using the local buses worked out just fine which is a bonus. Highly recommend!
We stayed 3 nights in this cosy cottage. Eating in the back garden by the river was lovely and Beddgelert has plenty of outdoor things to enjoy (walks, pubs, couple of shops) would recommend for a short break.

Great Honeymoon
A lovely start to our honeymoon, enjoyed reminiscing about our big day with a glass of champagne by the fire and river. Walks great from the cottage, no need to use the car.

We loved our stay and got some wonderful hiking in. We enjoyed food at the local pubs and the convenience of self catering. The local shop was well stocked. Wish there had been a clothes washer in the place as we got pretty muddy and wet on our hike but other than that fantastic place with everything we needed.
We had a very fine holiday. The accommodation was great. Big enough for the four of us. A nice garden, fully equipped kitchen. The house was located in the middle of a nice touristic town Beddgelert, but still a lot of privacy. A nice place for a holiday whit many options to have a nice (walking) day out
A really cute cottage with some lovely personal touches. Small garden overlooks the river and it is a short walk to the local amenities and many beautiful walks . It is also close to many tourist destinations in the Snowdonia area. We particularly enjoyed our visit to the unique Portmeirion village .
A lovely terraced cottage in the centre of a charming Welsh village
This property had all amenities and made a perfect place to stay for a walking holiday in South Snowdonia. It was clean and tidy, a great ground-floor bathroom, a homely kitchen/dining room, a small but cosy lounge, comfy beds and a garden overlooking the river. Well-situated in the heart of the village, close to shops, pubs, cafes and restaurant. Access to great valley walks with lakes, rivers and local peaks. Would definitely stay here again!
We really loved our stay in this cottage! The kitchen was really well equipped, the beds were really comfy and we adored the terrace by the streams.
Location is super and although you can't park directly outside it was easy to find on-street parking close by even though it was a very busy and sunny weekend. Several pubs and places to eat within a few minutes walk. We loved the bistro, though it's a good idea to book.
Beautiful walks from the house and the bus stop close by.
The property was exceptional, all the little extras were unexpected but really appreciated. The cottage was very clean and comfortable and the beds were great. Everything you would need was provided.
However sitting in the garden listening to the river running and watching people swimming and enjoying the beauty was just fantastic.
Would definitely book again, really good base to explore the area or just stay put.
Lovely little cottage with all the things you need for a comfortable break. Lots of cooking utensils, crockery, glasses etc. Great central location in the heart of the village. Parking was no problem using the off road instructions, and a lovely 2 min walk over the river bridge from there. Highly recommend the Hebog bistro to eat. Our only suggestion is that as there’s a small freezer, it could be included in the listing to help with shopping plans on arrival. We ordered an Asda delivery which worked well. Our favourite spot in the cottage was the garden by the river and meeting the resident robin! Thank you for a lovely stay.

Beautiful riverside location central to All village amenities.Very easy to find and access. Full of charm and character. Beds cosy and comfy. Very clean. Comms via VBRO/EXPEDIA were poor but direct comms with Derek was excellent and 10/10 responsive. 👌👍
Nice little welcome pack on arrival but would have preferred a proper bottle of wine rather than the alcohol free version provided😳 but that may be just us winos😂
Would definitely look to stay again if in the area and would highly recommend 👏👏👏 though its not suitable for disabled guests due to steep staircase which is typical of such period properties
Would definitely recommend Hebog for dining - outstanding. All pubs within less than 5 min walk and loads to do in local and wider area.
Only one thing ( other than proper wine 😂) could make this accommodation perfect and that would be a hot tub 🛁

Fantastic Base from which to explore Snowdonia.
We booked Clydfan Cottage for a long weekend break mid January and arrived just as thew snow was beginning to fall. We'd stayed in the beautiful village of Beddgelert before but this was our first stay in Clydfan and what a great find it turned out to be. The cottage has a very traditional and homely feel with nice decoration throughout. The added twist was the contemporary bathroom with underfloor heating, which, considering the deep snow outside, was extremely welcome. Clydfan is the perfect base from which to explore the fantastic mountains, quite literally on the doorstep. Once back down in the village at the end of a long day the local pubs provide a welcome stop off for a drink before returning to the cottage for a relaxing evening in front of the wood burning stove. One regret is that I didn't get to experience sitting out at the back of the cottage and idling away a few hours watching the river go by, but will save that for a return visit once the weather has turned warmer. Highly recommended.
