This cottage is in a fantastic location with amazing views and very convenient for walking the mountains in Snowdonia. It was very well equipped, it had everything that we needed, probably one of the best equipped that we have stayed at. We will definitely be booking to stay again sometime.
We absolutely loved our stay at Nant Peris. The cottage was charming and the views were magnificent. Would definitely come back. We even came to love the 3 sheep who visited us everyday.
Beautifully renovated stone cottage between LLanberis and Pen Y Pass which was ideal for exploring Snowdonia. The cottage worked really well for a group of friends with a pub just down the road. The bus stop was only a minutes walk away.
Would definitely return.
This cottage could not have been in a better location to enjoy the beauty of Snowdonia. It is a wonderful cosy place, and we really enjoyed coming back to the open fire after a long day's walking. We highly recommend staying here even in the winter!
This is a pretty unique place, based right underneath Snowden (you pretty much look up at it from your front door). We stayed in the depths of winter, so the place was incredibly beautiful, but the house was incredibly toasty - even when we didn’t have the fire going. The inside has loads of interesting decorations and features. Llanberis is 5 mins down the road, Caernarfon and Anglesea only a bit further. There was tonnes to do, even when we were there. Highly recommended.
Lovely cottage, well equipped and very comfy. Washing machine a welcome surprise! Beaches (Anglesey and llyn), mountain bike trails (betws y coed and coed y brenin) and walking up Snowden (took your recommendation of pyg/miners route!).
We enjoyed 3 nights at this lovely old stone cottage with beautiful views of the mountains. It is very comfortable and well set up with everything you need for a happy holiday. We were there during a heatwave and enjoyed the cool inside and set up the outdoor furniture to enjoy the sun outside too. There were a few cobwebs and spiders to deal with on arrival but it is a rural setting. Overall we would recommend this place.
This is such a cool place, right on the slopes of Snowdonia, up high and accessible to many great walks. We loved the old feel of the place and nice touches in the kitchen and living spaces, and the yard and gardens were charming. The house has been lovingly restored and has many quirks, but is still very special. We loved it.

Fijn huis aan de berg
We vonden Snowdonia supermooi!
This cottage was really lovely, it was exactly as shown in the photographs. It was very well equipped and clean. Directions were precise and we found it is easily considering internet service isn’t very good. There is Wi-Fi in the cottage. The location was perfect for climbing mount snowdon. Llanberis was a lovely town. I highly recommend staying here
We had beautiful weather for our weeks stay, a lovely cosy cottage with everything you need for your stay. A spar shop just a quick drive away and the pub also not too far away either.
We travelled throughout Wales and spent a week in London on this family vacation. Nant Peris and nearby LLanberis were the star of the show! Relaxing and beautiful. Northern Snowdonia shouldn't be missed. The cottage was the perfect place to slow down and take in the world class scenery.
Plenty of space for five or six. The kitchen very functional and with plenty of space for gathering and family meals. The sleeping arrangements are very comfortable. Great library too. Lesley is a wonderful, responsive host.
Lovely location and quirky property. Very well laid out and everything you need. Drive difficult to drive out from especially in dark. On arrival the boiler wasn't working but the owner was quick to respond, apologetic and talked us through resolving the issue, this didnt impact out stay at all. The location for walking is perfect and the views from the cottage were lovely even with the awful weather we had. Would recommend this property.
Character property in good location. Needs a spring clean , beds very comfortable.
Access through narrow entrance gate not the best.
Heating and hot water were not working one evening when we returned, we phoned the owner and a plumber came early next morning and fixed the problem, good service thanks!
We bought the cottage as a ruin 25 years ago, restored it ourselves and it has been a holiday home for our family ever since. The property was completely renovated in 2014 and repainted inside and out in December 2018. We are keen climbers and over the years have explored most of the routes in the area.
