About this property

Eastfield Lodge - Perfect Group accommodation

Eastfield Lodge is a charming Victorian House with 8 beautiful bedrooms all ensuite. The communal dining room and lounge overlook Wensleydale and the hills beyond. This house is ideal for gatherings of all generations, walking and cycling groups, friends getting together for reunions, birthdays or anniversaries or Corporate Team Building.
The Lodge can be booked for up to 16 people but additional guests can be added after booking. Charges apply. There are three apartments that can be booked.

The space
If you wish to book, the online booking system will automatically default to up to 16 people maximum. If you require further beds it is possible to sleep 20 using family rooms with extra divans or camp bed. The cost is an extra £30 per person per night. Please contact us after booking to add additional beds. We, or a member of our team, will generally be here to welcome you on arrival, or if you have had to self- check-in, a member of our team will pop in to see you after arrival, then let you settle yourselves in and relax. You have the local shops and restaurants in the town to help with your independent catering needs throughout your stay. We strongly encourage you to use the wealth of wonderful produce available from our local suppliers. You can then be left to your own devices but feel free to ask for advice on walks, places to visit or activities. We live next door but there is also a wealth of information in the Lodge.

At Christmas the house can be booked for a minimum stay of 4 nights.

Guest access
Guests will be able to use the entire house including the kitchen. Guests will have up to 5 parking spaces in the car park. The garden and patio area is available to all guests including those in our apartments.

Other things to note
It is important to contact us if you wish to bring your dogs as there are certain rules you need to agree to. We have six dog friendly bedrooms in the house. Dogs are not allowed in the kitchen or Dining Room. We charge £15 per dog per day.

Henry & Penny met in the Dolomites working with Colletts Mountain Holidays a genuine walking holiday specialist in its 24th year of providing guests with the perfect alpine escape. Henry & Penny's passion for walking brought them to the Yorkshire Dales. Penny is a qualified guide, and if available, will be happy to take your group on a guided walk. (Charge applies). We are also happy to arrange Murder Mysteries, Canoeing trips, Spa days and much more. There are many historic buildings to visit such as, Jervaulx Abbey, Middleham Castle, Bolton Castle and only 20 minutes drive away are the spectacular Asygarth Falls. 40 minutes away is Hawes, home to the famous Wensleydale Cheese Factory. There is so much to do and see in all weather conditions to ensure your family has a truly memorable holiday.
Most importantly, every guest can expect a genuine & enthusiastic welcome from us, Henry and Penny or one of our colleagues.
