The apartment is a small but well-outfitted studio, just enough for 2 people. Nicely designed, clean, with modern fixtures. It's just a few hundred metres from a Metro stop, making it easy to get around, and within walking distance of the Navigli canals. It made a great base for a 3-day trip to Milan.
The only issue during our stay was that the building the apartment is in was under construction. The entire building is wrapped in scaffolding and covered in dust (although luckily not inside the apartment), and noisy construction work began at 7am every morning. The host had kindly left ear plugs, but these weren't enough to keep out the noise. This also meant we couldn't open the windows or shutters for the duration. I would check with the host before booking to see if construction has been completed before booking, but otherwise this is a well-appointed and affordable option for your Milan trip.
