Tucked away at the bottom of a quiet lane in Dundee’s desirable west end, The Royal Tay Apartment is a beautifully restored one-mbedroom flat full of charm and character. From the original stained glass windows and high ceilings to the cosy ecofuel stove, every detail has been thoughtfully designed.

Enjoy meals at the large dining table in the bay window, with stunning views of the River Tay and the historic rail bridge. The king-size bedroom offers a restful retreat, while the compact kitchen has all the essentials including an oven, hob, slimline dishwasher, and microwave.

The shower room features a stained glass window within the cubicle, alongside a toilet and washbasin. And for a touch of personality, you’ll find quirky vintage pieces like an old gramophone, balanced by modern luxuries like a Smart TV and fast Wi-Fi.

Guests have full, private use of the apartment. There is usually space for a car by our garage, and also free on street parking (first come first served). However a very cheap car park is just two minutes walk away if needed.

The apartment is located just off Perth Road, one of Dundee’s most vibrant and sought-after streets — home to a range of independent shops, cafes, and restaurants.

Step outside and you’re directly across from Magdalen Green, a beautiful open space with a Victorian bandstand and views of the river — perfect for morning walks or a picnic. The university, city centre, V&A Museum, and train station are all within easy walking distance.

The apartment is in a period building, so access is via stairs only.
