La Pergola — Abrazzo

La Pergola is the brightest and most open accommodation at Abrazzo, our intimate retreat on the Costa Maresme — 40 minutes from Barcelona, directly bordering the Montnegre i el Corredor Natural Park.

La Pergola is located on the upper floor of the main house and has its own private entrance via a staircase at the side of the building. With a living area of approximately 46 m², La Pergola is designed as a bright, open loft with a living area, open-plan kitchen with dining space and a bedroom with a spacious double bed (180 x 200 cm). The bathroom features a walk-in shower. The accommodation is further equipped with a washing machine, air conditioning, heating and fiber-optic Wi-Fi — making it equally ideal for quiet, focused remote work.

The absolute highlight is the private terrace of approximately 40 m², partially covered and beautifully furnished with a lounge and dining area, sun loungers, a refreshing outdoor shower, BBQ and outdoor kitchen/bar. The views over the Mediterranean Sea and the coastal landscape are spectacular. Thanks to the unique position of La Pergola, both sunrise and sunset can be enjoyed from the terrace — a rare and memorable experience.

Wellness & the estate

Abrazzo is a small private paradise, with several wellness areas spread across the grounds: swimming pool, hot tub, sauna, Bali bed, Tiki Bar, pétanque area and vegetable garden. These spaces are shared with us and our other guests and together create a calm, relaxed atmosphere where everyone can find their own peaceful corner.

Abrazzo has a maximum of four accommodations. We deliberately choose to keep things small — to ensure that tranquility, space and privacy are always guaranteed. Guests who stay here share the same intention: to enjoy nature, silence and simple quality. That shared feeling creates something special on the estate.

The grounds are fully fenced and invite you to explore freely — from the chicken coop to the pool, from the wellness zones to the viewpoints. For heavy luggage or groceries, we are happy to assist using our Polaris quad.

The swimming pool is usually closed from November until the end of April. The hot tub and sauna are available year-round for a small contribution covering wood, bathrobes and maintenance.

The surroundings

Abrazzo is located directly next to the Montnegre i el Corredor Natural Park — a paradise for mountain bikers, e-bikers, road cyclists, hikers and nature lovers. Within five minutes' drive you reach the beach, Port Balís marina, restaurants and beach clubs, and water sports facilities. The train station is by the sea and takes you directly to the center of Barcelona in approximately 45 minutes.

Nearby you will also find several golf courses (including Golf de Llavaneras), tennis and padel clubs, and the historic thermal baths of Caldes d'Estrac, dating back to Roman times. The Costa Brava begins just 35 km away, with rugged cliffs, hidden coves and turquoise waters. Montserrat, with its spectacular rock formations and historic monastery, makes for an unforgettable day trip. For gastronomy and wine lovers, outstanding experiences await in Alella, Empordà, Priorat and Penedès.

Practical information

Abrazzo is a home — for us, our guests, and our dogs who roam freely across the grounds. We are a Dutch couple who have been living in Spain for over ten years. We share the land with three dogs, three cats and chickens that provide fresh eggs every day. Guests who feel comfortable around animals will feel right at home here.

The estate is accessible via a forest track of approximately 500 meters. A car is essential. Free parking is available on or next to the property. Due to the natural height differences on the grounds, Abrazzo is less suitable for guests with limited mobility. Abrazzo is located in a protected natural area — open fires are not permitted.
We welcome guests who are looking for tranquility, nature and quality. Parties, loud noise or disruptive behavior do not fit the spirit of Abrazzo. La Pergola accommodates a maximum of 2 guests.
