What an amazing property! Absolutely loved our one week stay here. Everything was as nice or nicer than advertised. We were so appreciative of the A/C and the pool since it was extra warm in Tuscany during our stay. A landscaping gardener came every day to make sure the pool was clean and to take care of the beautiful grounds. We cooked several meals in the kitchen and found most of the basics we needed for preparing each meal. Also took advantage of the outdoor BBQ for cooking up some wonderful Tuscany beef. All the bedrooms were decorated tastefully and the two sets of towels provided (one for bathroom / one for pool) was a nice touch. Used the washer/dryer several times, great wash, but wouldn't recommend the dryer setting as it seems to set in wrinkles. Besides it was so warm the clothes dried quickly on the provided drying racks/lines.The village ended up being a bit more remote than anticipated - the Google maps route takes you down a 2.5km gravel road. Discovered another route that cut the gravel road time down to .5km, that didn't add that much more time to the destination. It is about a 15 to 20 minute drive to Gaiole in Chianti, the closest town with services (gas, groceries, restaurants). So make sure you have a good shopping list so you don't forget something as it is a bit of a drive to get back to the store. All in all loved the place and would happily stay again.
