Fern Cottage in Cofton Hackett, sleeps five guests in three bedrooms.

Fern Cottage is a cottage that consists of a kitchen with electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, and dishwasher, a utility room with washing machine, tumble dryer, and iron and ironing board, a dining room with exposed stone feature fireplace, a sitting room with sofa, two armchairs, smart TV, open fire, and beams, and a cloakroom with basin and WC. The bedrooms consist of a super-king-size, twin, and single. There is a bathroom with freestanding bath, handheld shower, walk-in shower, and basin and WC. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen, and towels are included in the rent. Outside, there is an enclosed front garden with patio, lawn, and seating, as well as ample off-road parking. One well-behaved pet is welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Stay at Fern Cottage for your next picture-perfect holiday. Note: Owners have a bar at the bottom of the drive with live bands playing at the weekend, which finishes at 11 pm, and a quiz night once a week. Note: there is a good housekeeping bond of 350GBP. This property accepts a minimum of 3 night stays. There is a pet supplement charge of £20. Please note: the open fire will not be usable until the 28th of August

Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Off-road parking for 3 cars. Enclosed front garden with patio, lawn and plenty of seating areas. One well-behaved pet welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop and pub 0.1 mile, reservoir 0.6 miles, river 1.3 miles. Note: Owners operate Joe Joe Jims bar adjacent to the drive, this is strictly over 18’s both inside and outside, open Wednesday to Sunday, holding a quiz on a Wednesday, open mic night on a Thursday and live music on a Friday and a Saturday evening as well as some Sunday afternoons. Live bands finish in the evening a little after 11pm, you will be able to hear the music in the garden.
Note: Stairs are steep and turning, please take care. Note: Bedroom 3 has a single bed that can be made into large double zip and link however, takes up most of floor area; there is a bedside table when made up as a single. Please note: the open fire will not be usable until the 28th of August

Town: Coleford is a small town in the Forest of Dean in Gloucestershire. The town has a range of shops, bars and restaurants and is just four miles from the Welsh border. The Royal Forest of Dean is England's largest oak forest and is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The forest offers numerous trails that can be explored on foot, by bicycle or by horseback. Close to Coleford is the town of Lydney which sits on the banks of the River Severn and is in an area that is a delight for birdwatchers and wildlife enthusiasts. Just a short drive away, in the historic waterfront city of Gloucester, you will find Roman foundations, Victorian Docklands and a spectacular Norman Cathedral (whose cloisters were used as a location in the Harry Potter films). Also within easy reach is the historic market town of Ross-on-Wye, in the heart of rural Herefordshire, boasting timbered Tudor houses and excellent shops, pubs and restaurants. This unspoilt area has something to offer everyone at any time of the year.
