Very friendly, helpful hosts. Beautiful clean, comfortable cottage. Everything you needed was there. Lovely position, easy walking into Alcester. Plenty of things to do in the near area.
A beautiful place to stay! Caroline and Paul were so friendly and welcoming.Spotlessly clean and equipped with everything you could possibly need!We had a lovely, relaxing break, the bed was very comfortable and the cottage was warm and cosy. The surrounding area was beautiful and it was nice to be close to Alcester so we could just wander down and have a meal and a little wander.
Great location, close to numerous places, Stratford upon Avon just a few miles away.Owners Paul and Caroline so nice and pleasant, couldn’t be more accommodating.Accommodation was as advertised, everything you could need.Would definitely stay there again.

Very comfortable, with all needs met; even lovely and cool in the wonderful heatwave! Our second visit, with always a warm welcome from the hosts, Caroline and Paul. A convenient half hour from Stratford if visiting the theatres.

About the host
Hosted by Caroline & Paul Haffner
Caroline and Paul grew up in the south of the country but have lived in the Alcester area for 40 years. Moved to Oversley Green in February 2016. Paul retired December 2015 from a varied career of engineering and education and Caroline works at the local children's centre.
Why they chose this property
We fell in love with this property that included the annex. The hamlet of Oversley Green is very friendly and rural but is only a short walk to town. The black and white cottage, the lovely garden and the riverside frontage sold it to us.
What makes this property unique
The property has fishing rights. Next to the river is the gazebo with a lovely sitting area with fire pit/ice bucket, depending on the weather, A small sitting area outside Heron View to enjoy breakfast by the fish pond.
