The town of Holyhead is a few miles north, the largest town on Anglesey, and known for being the main ferry port to Ireland. Explore the Breakwater Country Park, a former quarry, with a variety of wildlife inhabiting the area, most notably seals, stroll along the picturesque marina, enjoy cliff top walks over Holyhead Mountain and bathe on golden sandy beaches at the award winning Trearddur Bay. Cross the Menai Bridge to the mainland, where the cathedral town of Bangor and the magnificent Snowdonia National Park are easily accessible.
