My wife and I stayed three weeks in February 2026. We are former VRBO owners, and found this centrally located place perfect for our stay. The owner was prompt with communications, added many convenient features like beach towels, kitchen supplies, and other items for our stay. We were able to observe green monkeys on several occasions during our stay, and the place was very spacious and comfortable with ceiling fans in all living areas, air conditioning, a faucet outside to wash our feet after being at the beach, and a nice covered balcony to enjoy our morning coffee. The appliances were in excellent condition, and we appreciated having a small toaster oven. Having the washer and dryer during our stay was an added bonus.We had friends join us for a portion of our trip and cooked a number of meals in the apartment during our stay. Having traveled across the globe, we appreciated everything this place had to offer during our stay.

Over the years I have stayed in many holiday rentals in Fitts Village and one day I'd love to be able to move in permanently. In the meantime I'm happy to share my home with you.

Why they chose this property

Fitts Village has long been my favourite place to stay in Barbados. I’ve stayed at a few places nearby over the years. It's a quiet and affordable section of the West Coast, In this part of Barbados you’re never far away from everywhere. Holetown is only 10 minutes north and Bridgetown 15 minutes south by car or bus.

What makes this property unique

It is perfectly located just 450 yards from the beach. I can walk it in around six minutes. Usain Bolt could run down to the water in around 52 seconds! However, take your time and the reward is there fore you.

Our neighbours are lovely people and we have a beautiful view and are the custodians of a marvellous mural by local artist Don Small.

The house has been recently refurbished with air conditioning in all bedrooms and the living room. All appliances are new.
