Come enjoy this beautiful waterfront home situated on 1 acre of private land. Perfect for 2 families; one large family or a special retreat for a couple who wants plenty of space for themselves! The property features magnificent lake views, 100' boardwalk, large dock for tying up your boat, quiet sandy beach for swimming and kayaking (we provide 2 kayaks, paddles and lifevests), two large porches, large lawn for outdoor activities, 4 bedrooms (two of which are private master suites), loft area with full size futon, 3 full bathrooms, an ample great room with cathedral ceilings, living room with an electric stove, kitchen, and large dining area. High speed internet/cable included.

The home has beautiful knotty pine throughout and rustic furnishings that provide a true Adirondack experience with all the modern conveniences.

Winter Get Away

What a perfect place to stay! The cabin was beautiful, comfortable, and clean. We had plenty of space for our big family of 9. We had great communication with our host. We would definitely recommend this property and would love to stay again.

Awesome cabin

It was a wonderful week! The location and cabin are beautiful and close to town. The yard is a large flat area…great for play area and bonfire. There is no AC, but there is a ceiling fan in each bedroom and the main room. Would definitely recommend it and we would stay there again if we were back in the area.

The best of everything

It's a perfect place for a weekend, week or a month. The home, the views and the hosts combine to make it a great experience. You won't want to leave, even to go to the store. :) The hosts are welcoming, responsive and professional. The town remains charming, and the lake is as great as ever.

Great House and Location

Lovely home with plenty of room for 8 adults. Quiet secluded neighborhood but close enough to the town of Old Forge to be able to shop for what you need.

Best Location

This was our 2nd year staying at this property! We won't stay anywhere else in Old Forge! The location is close to everything but still private! The furnishings and bedrooms are the perfect layout for families and the backyard overlooking the lake is nice and flat. We rented a pontoon boat and docked it right there. Will be booking every year for the family vacay!

Beautiful home, excellent location!

The home was comfortable, immaculately clean, had great decor and a wonderful view. We used the kayaks and enjoyed evenings star gazing on the doc and relaxing at the fire pit. Best of all, though, is that my fiancé proposed to me right in the main bedroom upstairs!! Thank you and we'll definitely remember this place for life!!!

This house is perfect!! Clean, spacious and equipped with anything you need!! Loved that water was shallow and sandy for the kids to play!! Back porch was perfect at night!! Owners were great to work with!! We just got back and already booked for next summer!!

Stunning, cozy lake living

The property was immaculate and in a gorgeous yet private area, close to town. Whatever the season or your occasion, we highly recommend. The owners were prompt with any questions or requests and allowed us to check in early on arrival to be able to get in an extra day of snowmobiling.

Exceptional Property

I am so impressed with this property and the owners I don't know where to begin. The house is spotless, the design & layout are perfect and of course the view is to die for! We went on an all ladies family wknd trip and lets just say we were all so relaxed we didn't care about wearing makeup, bras or getting out of our sweats lol!! Will be booking every year!!

Feels Like Home!

This is our second year staying at this wonderful house. Everything our family (ages 10 months to 61) requires for a perfect stay. The kitchen is fully equipped with any appliance & kitchen tool you may need, when preparing a meal. The two porches are ideal for sitting outside having a cup of coffee in the morning, and a nice glass of wine in the evening. The list of amenities makes this home ideal for a short visit or a longer stay. So thankful for this gem!

Awesome spot on the Water

My family and I loved this spot, it was perfect for the grandkids to play in the shallow water and great for docking our boat and taking it out on the lakes. Very close too town and all the shops. Great view in the morning to have our coffee on the outside deck, just Beautiful!!!

Second stay at this fantastic cabin!

This was the second time we stayed at the Northern Oasis Lodge. This cabin, on the First Lake inlet in Old Forge, was perfect for us. It was clean, well maintained and had plenty of room of our party of six adults to spread out. The bedrooms were a nice size, the bathrooms were clean and the kitchen was large enough to seat 10 and had everything we needed to prepare our meals at home. The large waterfront dock was perfect for sitting out during the day, the fire pit provides some nice nights to make s’mores and the kayaks were fun to paddle around the inlet and Old Forge Pond. We were able to dock our Pontoon boat at the dock the entire week. Rick, the owner, is a pleasure to deal with. He is quick to answer any questions and will promptly take care of any issue you may have. We are already planning out third visit to Old Forge and another great vacation at this fantastic cabin!
