The 3400 sq. ft. home is 4 miles from Mayo/St. Mary's and features hardwood flooring throughout, 10' ceilings, a custom kitchen with a large marble island, stainless steel appliances, 2 ovens, gas stove top, a wine cooler, formal and informal dining areas, a large main living area with a 70” television, 3-way gas fireplace, office with built-in shelving, large laundry room, huge back yard with a fire pit and a deck with a gas grill. The Master Suite has a luxurious King bed, tub and walk-in shower. The other bedrooms all feature pillow-top mattresses, fine linens and large closets. All bedrooms are located on the 2nd floor.

*Notes:

*There is a lower level 2 bedroom available if you are interested in renting out the entire home(3 floors). Please see my other listing("EXCEPTIONAL 2BD/1BA CLOSE TO MAYO")
*Flat screen TV's in 3 of the bedrooms upstairs.
*Since I live in the home part-time some of my personal belongings will be there. You will have access to many kitchen essentials(oils, spices, condiments, coffee, etc.).
*1 space in garage and one in driveway included. Additional parking on street during applicable months.

Great Property!

Property was very spacious. Check in process was extremely easy. We even got to check in early. Atmosphere around property was amazing. Got to watch some wildlife some turkeys and some squirrels. Just a nice peaceful time. Check out was a breeze. All amenities were included in as in listing. Host was top notch. Property was possibly under remodeling in some spaces so we were afraid to access certain amenities was only small downfall. Overall, 9/10! Would definitely stay again

Fun and Fancy

Our host was residing beneath us in a basement apartment unknown to us. I think she trespassed the area we paid for, she admitted to recording our conversations. Why would she do that? Isn't that against your rules? She may have video taped my daughter in the bath or us for that matter. Someone should check her out. I don't think this property is safe. I think the owner is a threat. I would never do a VRBO or any other rental accommodation again. We were there because of illness. We are all very disturbed by what transpired. She accused us of damaging her property. She reprimanded us for our discussions. NEVER AGAIN!

Baby Shower Weekend

We really enjoyed this property. I hosted a baby shower and it was perfect! The home is beautiful! Location is in a great neighborhood. Only small issue was it looks like there are renovations/painting going on and there were a lot of things left in the front room and behind door in kitchen. No big deal we just moved things to the back room for our party. Overall a very nice place to rent.

Family Christmas 2024

We stayed at the house and used it as a home base for our family Christmas this year. Beautiful home, well stocked. Looks like they are still making some improvements and updates. No cable TV, but some great streaming options were available. Thank you for a fun weekend!

The perfect house for a family Christmas

This house the perfect place to stay while celebrating and hosting Christmas! My husband and I hosted both our families for Christmas (his flew in; mine live in town) we couldn’t have asked for a better house. The house was decorated for Christmas which made it extra cozy and staying there felt like a home away from home, with all the kitchenware and other amenities. We’d definitely stay again!

Perfect comfortable house for a challenging visit to Mayo

It was a great place to stay while we had appointments at Mayo Clinic. The house was beautiful and it felt like a treat to stay there. It is in a beautiful and friendly neighborhood. The beds were just right. Thanks, Deb, for a great stay.

Bachelorette weekend

The property is beautiful and in a very safe neighborhood. Deb’s check in process was smooth and made the weekend very easy. Deb communicated in a timely manner when we had issues with evidence of mice in the home. That being said, we were surprised at some cleanliness issues with the home. One of my guests noted that there was trash under her bed from the previous visit, and we noticed dust and grime in places that should be cleaned regularly. Additionally, we were surprised at

Beautiful Home but very disappointed

The home is very beautiful, but the cleanliness was disappointing. When we arrived there was a broken picture frame with glass shattered in the floor. We could not find a broom. There was dirt and dead bugs in the corners and along the walls and the kitchen counter. The deck was covered with debris and the grill had not been cleaned. The jacuzzi did not work and the mattress in the master bedroom was very broken down. The dishwasher needed rinse aid so it would not run until I went and purchased some. We found dirty dishes in the cabinet and had to wash dishes before we could eat. At the price paid for this stay, we were less than happy, to say the least. Definitely would avoid this place.

Family wedding

Beautiful home but had an odor like fried soy sauce maybe, especially upstairs. Remotes were greasy. Comfortable stay but furniture and rugs were ripped and spotted. Somebody had rented the basement which we knew could happen but it would have been nice to have been notified that others had rented it. Overall worked great for our family of 8 to stay for a weekend wedding in Rochester.

Cleaning

It was the nice to have a place big enough to accommodate our group. There are not that many listings available to do so. I had an issue with the cleanliness. When you pay a cleaning fee it should be clean. Back patio cushions wet and dirty not swept, front steps overgrown and a hazard. The septic should be looked at, awful smell from the master and downstairs bathroom. We were there for a celebration of life did not have time to go back and forth with the host, left a message for her about all this and asked for cleaning deposit back . Made the road trip back home, never heard anything from her in 7 days until we contacted VRBO. Then replied back with nasty email. Don't get me wrong for price, size and us being able to be together you couldn't beat it. Just needs work and the host needs to listen to the feedback and learn to respond in a more effective way.

Family stay to attend local wedding

This property has a beautiful, functional layout for larger groups and is in an awesome location. The owner could improve the rental by getting rid of some of the clutter and cleaning in those cluttered areas. Some of the rooms need paint touch’s on walls and woodwork but overall esthetic is great!!! Very well stocked kitchen. The only other improvement I would make immediately is changing check out time until 11am as 10am is simply too early for larger groups which this rental caters to.

Nice and spacious

This house is big. Perfect for a group. There were 4 of us and we had so much space. Had everything we needed. Lots of random things laying around and a lot of decor that is dusty. It has been well used and could use some new paint and furniture.

Lovely house for family

We loved the house and the lay out of the downstairs which allowed for lots of hang out time with the family. Some of the areas of the house could use some updated paint as there are areas that are a little beat up from wear and tear.

A great getaway!

My husband and I stayed here for a long weekend. We loved it. Very comfortable accommodations, well equipped kitchen, cozy living room with fireplace and large smart TV. Neighborhood is quiet and close to anything you might need. Would love to come back for another weekend getaway.

Comfy and roomy

Lots of space for our group of six to gather together and also spread out for alone time. We’ve been traveling together for 17 years and this one was a winner! Luxurious bedding and towels, beautiful decor.
