Other things to note
Please note that our licence only allows us to host 5 people in total of any age. Children or Infants cannot be added on top of the 5 guests, but are welcome as part of the 5.
There are a few steps up to the building and a full staircase within the apartment.
We ask that our guests are considerate towards our neighbours, especially as noise travels well within the converted Church building.
Please note a £150 security deposit is required up to 2 days before arrival, and will be returned after departure, subject to no significant damage, and the property being left in a reasonable state. I hope to never be in the situation, where I need to retain anyone's deposit, please be assured of my intention.

About the host
Hosted by Isobel Montgomery-Smith

Hi I am Isobel.
I am a nurse, and have been now for 17 years. I have worked in the NHS, but now work in the social care sector. I work in a nursing home, caring for older people and older people with severe or late stage Dementia. I also work in the community caring for a little girl with complex nursing needs.
I have little humans, who are 11 and 4 and myself and their Dad, live in a small town near Reading.
We are a social bunch and we generally fill our days spending time with friends and family. On sunny days we set off on adventures to find water, fishing for those who enjoy or wild swimming and picnic-ing for the rest of us.
Hosting is new to me, it wasnt my intention to become a Host but life took this route and I have been loving it since starting in June 2025. For me, the best part about being a host, is hearing that our guests have enjoyed staying at our lovely flat in Campbeltown.

Why they chose this property
Before taking on the flat I had never been to Campbeltown, but my goodness am I glad to have found such a quaint place. I have met such kind people in the Wee Toon, as the locals call it, people who have encouraged and support me in getting the flat up and together.
The drive down through Argyll is beautiful, the scenery is breathtaking.....makes me question why I live where I live, when I could live in such beautiful countryside.

What makes this property unique
Flat 2 Castlehill Mansions is a lovely split level flat. The kitchen, bathroom and dinning room join the three bedrooms upstairs. You get a lovely view, down the main street of Campbeltown and the hills beyond, from the dinning room through the very large living room window. The flat is deceptively spacious, in a quiet location whilst being only a few minutes walk away from the centre of Campbeltown.
