Castle View – Historic Charm with Iconic Views in Windsor
Welcome to Castle View, a stunning Grade II listed, pet-friendly holiday home located in the most prestigious street in Royal Windsor. Directly behind the back garden wall is the Royal Mews. The King’s carriages exit onto the Long Walk and turn onto this road so you are likely to see the wonderful site of these carriages parading along the road from any of the front windows. During Royal Ascot week or any other Royal occasion, you can see the processions along Long Walk - entrance to which is just 50 metres from your front door!
This road also boasts The Two Brewers pub, little changed since 1709. Look at the reviews online. Walk into this pub and take a step back in time.
This elegant property combines period character with modern comfort, offering open-plan living spaces, a window wall seating area, and unforgettable views of Windsor Castle— all of the bars, restaurants and shops of central Windsor are located at the end of the road
Inside Castle View: Step into the inviting open-plan living area, where cosy sofas and armchairs set the tone for relaxation. Switch to holiday mode as you unwind in front of a Smart TV or gather around the dining table for a home-cooked feast. The fully equipped kitchen features a double oven and hob, perfect for whipping up delicious meals to share.
Prefer a quieter moment? Retreat to the second living and dining room with a good book and soak up the serene atmosphere.
Outdoor Bliss: When the sun shines, head to the rear garden patio for alfresco dining. Enjoy your evening meal at the garden table, then settle into the swing seat or one of the chairs with your favourite drink as the sunset paints the sky golden.
Bedrooms & Bathrooms: Upstairs, natural light floods through the wall of windows, creating a tranquil reading nook. Choose from several comfortable double bedrooms on the first floor or indulge in the second-floor suite with its own en-suite bathroom. Start your mornings with a refreshing shower or a luxurious soak in the freestanding bath before planning your day.

Make sure you also pay a visit to the church of All Saints situated on Frances Road, where a lost altarpiece of the notable Thomas Hardy was found behind a screen, while the river side offers lovely walks with a congregation of swans to be spotted either side of the bridge. Find Britain's shortest street just to the left of the Crooked House at Queen Charlotte Street and marvel at the building that really does seem like it's about to fall over. There is plenty more on offer in this beautiful town, with independent and high street shops, pus, bars, restaurants and intriguing history everywhere you go. This popular destination is also home to Legoland Windsor Resort, a lively theme park and a delight for those bringing the kids along for a fun day out with all the family.
