Popular for being the site of Windsor Castle, one of the official residences of the royal family, this town offers something for everyone to enjoy. Discover the longest path you've ever seen, turning your back on the famous castle and taking in the glorious views of the Long Walk, which leads in a straight line to Snow Hill, a raised mound topped by a statue of George III. Make sure you also pay a visit to the church of All Saints situated on Frances Road, where a lost altarpiece of the notable Thomas Hardy was found behind a screen, while the river side offers lovely walks with a congregation of swans to be spotted either side of the bridge. Find Britain's shortest street just to the left of the Crooked House at Queen Charlotte Street and marvel at the building that really does seem like it's about to fall over.
