Took a chance on this lovely apt with only one review at the time & I'm glad I did. Anna is lovely to work with & humored my million questions (I'm a planner &, at times, an anxious traveler). A few details:
1. The apt is exactly as listed & is adequately appointed. If you are looking for something that is up-scale or more luxury, this won't be a good fit for you. Anna's place felt like home to me, comfy & cozy with everything I needed. I loved that I could open the windows at night to get a cross breeze & sleep with fresh air flowing.
2. The apartment is on the 2nd floor with no elevator. If you have difficulty with stairs, this may not be for you.
3. The bathroom is small, but again, has everything you need. I'm mainly talking to us Americans who go to European countries and expect everything to be super spacious.
4. The apartment is close to EVERYTHING. 2 blocks to Laugavegur, less than 5 mins walk to the church (Hallgrimskirkja) and Rainbow Street, & a 10 min drive to the Sky Lagoon.
5. Parking - I didn't find free daily parking nearby, mostly because it was snowing & I was lazy. I did find a P3 parking zone on the street adjacent to the apartment. Using the Parka app, it was about $9 USD to park all day. I think that is reasonable.
6. If you like to know all the details of your stay days in advance of arrival, take a deep breath & relax. Anna will get you the info before check-in.
7. I was a solo female traveler & felt very safe.
