A Rare Find: Double-Fronted Victorian Elegance in Wandsworth
Forget everything you know about cramped London living. This exceptional home offers something genuinely extraordinary—a 100-foot garden that's wider than most, off-street parking, and interiors that breathe sophistication.
The Garden That Changes Everything
Picture summer evenings on your private lawn, spacious enough for proper garden parties or impromptu cricket matches. Multiple seating areas mean you can follow the sun throughout the day, from morning coffee to twilight drinks. It's the sort of outdoor space that makes city dwellers weep with envy.
Interiors That Deliver on the Promise
The heart of the home—a breathtaking open-plan kitchen, living and dining space—runs the full width of the house. Floor-to-ceiling glass doors dissolve the boundary between inside and out, flooding the space with natural light. It's architectural theatre at its finest, yet utterly liveable.
Upstairs, the accommodation is equally impressive. Egyptian cotton sheets dress every bed, whilst the top-floor master suite ups the ante with air conditioning and a private terrace overlooking those glorious gardens. Previous guests have been unanimous in their five-star reviews—and discerning ones at that.
Location: The Perfect Balance
Here's the clever bit: you're a leisurely 12-minute stroll from Wandsworth Common station, then just 10 minutes by train to Victoria. The vibrant local high street and 175 acres of common are practically on your doorstep. Urban convenience without the compromise.
That coveted parking space? It's yours, right outside the front door. In London, that's essentially winning the lottery.
Perfect For...
Extended families, groups of friends, or anyone who refuses to sacrifice space for a central location. Book swiftly—homes like this create their own demand.

I grew up in tech and was fortunate enough to fly around the world on expenses staying in lovely hotels and delighting in foreign places and cuisine.
VRBO is a fine example of technology changing things for the better. It's a great way to keep travelling but in more intimate, characterful surroundings.
I work at 3LA dot com where we have been deploying Generative AI to offer Management Consulting to small and medium sized businesses via a SaaS model.

Why they chose this property
Wandsworth is a beautiful blend of metropolitan living with the bucolic delights of country life. There are acres of green spaces and masses of trees in our neighbourhood but the underground and two verground railway lines connect you to the city centres in minutes.
It's a great place to base yourself, especially with a family, if you want to see the capital and escape to the country while being located in a blend of the two.
You can park a car here - something unimaginable in most of London.

What makes this property unique
The frontage is an unusual, 30's style vibe with a lot of window and a semi-industrial look to it. Inside thehouse has a big open hall with a winding staircase that leads up to a landing. This combination makes for a light, open aspect - unlike most London townhouses. The garden is huge for London and calming, even from the windows. But by opening the vast sliding glass panes that span the back of the family living space, the garden and the house are rolled into one. A wondrous delight.
