It’s a great unit, not ski mountain facing, but I prefer that, it gets rowdy at the bottom of the gulch. Beautiful hotel, amenities, services and unit.
We love staying at the Ritz - Bachelor Gulch- it’s such a treat! Everything is as you would expect a Ritz to be- the room was great- beds were comfortable, kitchen was well stocked and there was plenty of room for a family of 3 ( including a 17 yr old son to have a little space of his own) location is the best ever! Apres ski right downstairs every day and the ski in ski out is perfect! Definitely recommend!!!
We really enjoyed our stay at the Ritz! The unit was recently refurbished and very nice. The views were beautiful and we hope to stay again. Only minor comment was that we rented this unit to have the amenities of a home (kitchen / washer dryer), but the dryer was not functioning. We called maintenance but they were unable to fix it. Other than that, everything was wonderful.
It was the Ritz and it lived up to that name. Hotel service was friendly and accommodating, the room was luxurious and spacious, the kitchen was more than adequate to our cooking needs, and I think my husband still dreams about that giant couch. The property is in a beautiful mountainside setting. It has activities onsite -- hiking, pool, spa, etc. -- and offers a frequent and easy to use shuttle to Beaver Creek village where more activities and restaurants are available. We had a very relaxing stay. The one thing I would have done differently would be to not arrange ahead of time to have mountain bikes delivered for our use -- from the hotel location everything goes either straight up or straight down the mountain so it was not a suitable location for the sort of easy rides I had envisioned. But that's on me -- the concierge was certainly helpful in setting the bike rental up in the first place!
