Overall, I enjoyed this new and modern apartment. Everything was clean and functional. The Wi-Fi was fast. The bed was comfortable but a bit on the small side. The unit was somewhat bare-bones, however, with sparse decor and minimal kitchen wares, utensils, and appliances--there was no microwave, for instance. Typical of Lima, there was no air conditioning, but the host did bring a large fan when asked, which helped cool down the apartment on warm afternoons. The reception desk was staffed 24/7, and the staff members were friendly and helpful. The apartment was located close to restaurants, a decent-size supermarket, and was only a few blocks from the Chorrillos malecon overlooking the ocean. Friends advised, however, that it was safer to avoid walking the area alone late at night. Jim, the host, was very accessible and communicative as well. Overall, I would recommend this apartment to solo travelers or couples, and I would stay again.
