I chose this property because it had the sleeping arrangements that we needed for a family of 6 visiting Ireland for a family vacation. We had planned to stay up late playing cards, games, and catching up since it had been over a year since we had all been together, but got a notification 3 days before arrive that we needed to be quiet by 2200. The location was not close to the attraction we had planned to visit in Dublin. We had hoped to use public transportation, but that was not a timely option so we took taxis. Because of the distance and tolls, each time was 60 to 101 each way. All of the disposal bins were full when we arrived so when we checked out they were overflowing. There is a nice patio on the back of this property, but you can smell the garbage bins while on the patio. Other than the trash bins, this property was very clean. If you choose this property, I hope you have better luck figuring out the hot water schedule than we did. Cold showers can be refreshing.

It seems that you did not have a satisfactory stay at our house, which is disappointing. But if I can clarify a few points you mention. It is standard that people keep noise levels down from 22.00 onwards. I don’t see why you could not play board games?? Most people have this policy as it’s respecting our neighbours. Secondly, the bus is right outside our door, which will either bring you to Dublin City or malahide. It sounds like you planned your stay incorrectly, which we cannot help with. I apologise about the bins, but sometimes at can happen. Last point, we have never had a complaint about hot water. It’s on for 4 hours everyday and also you can easily switch it on if needed. I wish your communication was better before you travelled, as it is now. Some people are just not happy. Disappointing

This property had not been reviewed, so any traveler would have some reservations as to the property. This property exceeded all expectations. First, Communications from the owner were fantastic. Property was very clean, and as described. I would not hesitate to stay again. It’s proximity to Malahide was great.
