We were supposed to be met with the keys at 3pm, but it took 45 minutes and 5 phone calls for someone to arrive.
The front door to the apartment block was broken, meaning anyone could enter, very unsafe.
The whole apartment block (and hence, the apartment) stank of rotten rubbish and the rubbish room was overflowing.
There were stains all over the carpets and furniture in the flat and no provided amenities, no bin bags and not even a sponge scourer or tea towels for the washing up. We had to buy them, if we weren't so conscientious we would have just left all the dirty pots for them.
The Jack and Jill bathroom door handle was broken into the bedroom meaning you couldn't open it from the bedroom side and had to walk into the living room to access.
In the 2nd bedroom the blind was missing meaning there was no privacy from overlooking flats and it was impossible to sleep beyond dawn as the sun streamed in from 6am
We reported all of this and were promised it would be fixed during our stay but it never was, and I was in contact with them via the platform two or three times a day.
The location was excellent, and, if not for the listed issues, this could have been a great stay but was irredeemably marred by poor customer service and the state of the main building.
I cannot stress enough how bad it smelled, it made us gag.
