The South West Coast path runs on three sides of village. The National Trust's Revelstoke Drive is a year round circular walk, starting in the village and following a route along the clifftop, through woodlands and along the estuary edge. There are breathtaking views and keen bird watchers can expect to see flocks of migratory birds as well as many native species.
Cellar Beach, a small pebble and sand beach, can be found along the circular walk, it is roughly a 40 minute walk from Noss Mayo.
There are two charming pubs in the village, The Ship Inn sits opposite Tidal Waters, with plenty of outdoor seating and delicious food to sample, it's a glorious spot to sit and while away the day. The Swan offers a warm atmosphere and a garden overlooking the water.
There is also a seasonal foot ferry for travel between nearby Newton Ferrers and the town of Wembury.
There are tennis courts and a great park with pirate ship for the smallest members of your party.
Further a field, there are plenty of sandy beaches, Mothecombe being the closest, with Bigbury-on-Sea, Bantham and Challaborough a slightly longer car journey away.
